| BackgroundHeart failure(HF)is a series of serious or terminal stage of cardiac structure or function to damaged or cause ventricular ejection congestion caused by the reduced ability of cardiovascular disease, and high mortality.A large number of experimental and clinical studies have shown that traditional heart failure biomarker amino terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP)is closely related to the occurrence of chronic heart failure development. In recent years, myeloperoxidase(MPO),a new type of inflammatory cytokines, the role of study in the development of chronic heart failure increasingly prominent, but research and other reference indicator of heart failure correlation is not very clear.ObjectivesSome studies abroad confirmed MPO involved in oxidative stress, mediated inflammation, endothelial dysfunction and ventricular remodeling and other processes involved in CHF.This study was to further investigate the MPO in chronic decompensated heart failure associated expression and its effect on heart failure patients with recent(6 months)prognosis.MethodsWe collected a total of 82 patients with chronic systolic heart failure and 100 healthy subjects.By ELISA assay of plasma MPO levels between the experimental group and the healthy group. And analyze the relevance and impact of the short-term prognosis among of MPO,NT-proBNP,heart fatty acid binding protein(H-FABP),troponin(cTnI),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(Hs-CRP),troponin(cTnI),NYHA functional class and LVEF.Results(1)The expression levels of plasma MPO chronic systolic heart failure patients are higher than in healthy control group, the difference between two groups was statistically significant(66.851 ± 58.197 vs 7.824 ± 4.182,p <0.001);chronic systolic heart failure plasma NT-proBNP,H-FABP expression levels are higher than the healthy control group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.01,P <0.05);chronic systolic heart failure plasma Hs-CRP,cTnI levels compared with the healthy control group has no significant difference(P = 0.092,P = 0.643).(2)Chronic heart failure group, press NYHA heart function, the plasma MPO,NT-proBNP,H-FABP levels of class II grade,III grade,IV grade were significantly higher than the healthy control group, and the three groups were statistically significant differences(P <0.05)between any of the two groups;plasma Hs-CRP,cTnI levels with NYHA functional class II,III,IV grade increase without significant change(P =0.084,P = 0.210);Moreover MPO levels and NT-proBNP,H-FABP level value was positively correlated(P = 0.035,P <0.05),and LVEF value was negatively correlated(P <0.05)(3)In Chronic heart failure, the plasma level of MPO quartile between coronary heart disease ischemic heart disease(CAD)group with dilated cardiomyopathy(DCM)group, was not statistically significant(P = 0.079).(4)82 patients with chronic heart failure group 6 months follow-up: 46 people are generally in good condition,32 were re-admitted for heart failure treatment,4 people were killed;the plasma MPO level between adverse events with non-adverse events in patients has significant statistical difference(P = 0.042).Conclusion(1)The expression levels of plasma MPO in chronic heart failure patients is increased compared with healthy people.(2)Plasma MPO expression and severity of heart failure has a positive correlation.(3)The expression levels of plasma MPO and NT-proBNP,H-FABP levels were positively correlated, negatively correlated with LVEF values.(4)Plasma MPO expression and prognosis in patients with heart failure was significant correlation. |
