Objective Cervical cancer is one of the most common cancer which threatened the Women’s Health.In recent years,the morbidity and mortality of the Cervical cancer in china is on the rising.The primary reason which causing the patient prognosis and dead is the cancer cell infiltration and transfer.The expression ofβ-catenin(β-cat),E-cadherin(E-cad)and survivin were measured through immunohistochemical examination in early cervical cancer.The relationships between clinical pathology and pelvic and para-aortic lymph node metastasis were analyzed.As well as the correlation of the three genes expression were explored.The study will be great benefit for the diagnosis and treatment of cervical cancer.The study will provide us with a fundamental idea of predicting pelvic and para-aortic lymph node metastasis for early stage cervical cancer.Materials and methods The total of 119 cases of early cervical cancer with clinical stage Ia1 ~ IIa2(FIGO2009)were analyzed about clinical pathologica and tumor tissue samples,in Liaoning province tumor hospital between January 2009 and May 2014.The expressions of β-cat、E-cad and survivin were measured in early cervical cancer by immunohistochemistry.The relationships between clinical pathology and pelvic and para-aortic lymph node metastasis were analyzed.The study willprovide us with a fundamental idea of predicting lymph node metastasis.SPSS16.0 was used for statistical analysis.The data was analyed by chi-square and Fisher’ exact test.Spearman correlation and ROC curve were used for statistical processing.Results1.Relationships between β-catenin,E-cadherin and Survivin expression and clinical pathological characteristics of cervical cancer.A total of 31 cases in 119 patients had lymph node metastasis,and the transfer rate was 26.05%.Pelvic lymph nodes metastasis were happened mainly in obturator,iliac,internal and external iliac,and the transfer rate was 23.52%.Para-aortic lymph node metastasis in five cases,the rate was 4.2%.Positive expression of β-cat,E-cad and survivin were as well as the FIGO staging.The differences were statistically significant(P < 0.05).The expressions of β-cat,E-cad and Survivin in the lymph node metastasis positive group were significantly higher than that of lymph node metastasis negative group.The difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).2.Relationships between β-catenin,E-cadherin and Survivin expression and Para-aortic lymph node positive.The expressions of β-cat,E-cad and survivin in cervical tissue were classified as negative,weak positive,positive and strong positive.The expressionss of β-cat(P < 0.001),E-cad(P = 0.001)and survivin(P = 0.037)in cervical cancer patients with lymph node positive group were higher than lymph negative node metastasis group.The expressions of E-cad(P = 0.037)and survivin(P = 0.039)in para-aortic lymph node positive group were higher than lymph negative node metastasis group.The difference was statistically significant.The expressions of β-cat expressed in 5 cases with para-aortic lymph node metastasis were positive in 3 cases and 2 strong positive,in which there was no statistically significant(P = 0.158).3.The relationships among β-catenin,E-cadherin and Survivin expression in cervical cancer.The expressions of β-cat,E-cad and survivin were positively correlated with cervical.They were statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.β-catenin、E-cadherin and Survivin expression value for the forecast of lymph node metastasis in cervical cancerThree kinds of protein expression under the ROC curve is 0.603,0.661 and0.628 respectively.Their expressions with lymph node metastasis in patients with cervical cancer were correlated.Conclusion1.The expressions of β-cat,E-cad and survivin were positive in cervical cancer.The expressions of the genes had close relationship with the clinical stages and lymph node metastasis.However,the expressions had no correlation with age,histological type,differentiation,vascular tumors bolt and depth of invasion.2.The expressions of β-cat,E-cad and survivin has positive correlation in cervical cancer.The expresions of β-cat,E-cad and survivin had correlation in the invasion and lymph node metastasis in cervical cancer.The expressions ofβ-cat,E-cad and survivin may play an important role in the mechanisms of occurrence,metastasis and invasion in early cervical cancer.3.The expressions of β-cat,E-cad and survivin were correlated with pelvic lymph node.The expressions of E-cad and survivin were correlated with para-aortic lymph nodes.The ROC curve indicates that the expressions of β-cat,E-cad and survivin being in advance in pelvic and para-aortic lymph node metastasis in cervical cancer.
