Objective: To observe chiropractic therapy’s clinical effects on promoting the motor function rehabilitation of children with hypotonic cerebral palsy and to observe its interactions with microcirculation.Explore comprehensive rehabilitation therapies with the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods:(1)Clinical case-control observation: 60 cases in accordance with the inclusive criteria were randomly divided into two groups--treatment group and control group, with 30 cases in each group.Rehabilitation plans were made according to children’s gross motor evaluation results. Two groups both reveived common rehabilitation training while the treatment group received Chiropractic therapy at the same time.Every therapeutical measure was implemented once-daily 6 times per week and total for 3 treatment courses. One treatment course was 30 times. The motor function and myodynamia of the two groups were evaluated after 3 treatment courses.(2)Clinical trial: 40 cases of children with hypotonic cerebral palsy were randomly divided into 4 groups, with 10 cases in each group.Chiropractic was adopted 3 times,5 times,7 times and 9 times respectively.Comprehensive quantitative analysis was made on the state of the nail fold microcirculation of each group 5 min before chiropractic and 5 min,10 min,20 min,30 min after chiropractic by using Tianniu microcirculation weighted integral.Results:(1)Gross motor function was improved: after treatment, gross motor function integrals of the two groups were improved significantly and the integral of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(p<0.05).(2)Myodynamia was improved: after treatment, the myodynamia of children in the both groups was improved and the curative effect of the treatment group was obviously better than that of the control group(p<0.05),indicating that chiropractic has advantages on promoting the myodynamia improvement of children with hypotonic cerebral palsy.(3)Clinical effects: there were total 30 cases in the treatment group,in which the numbers of efficacy and inefficacy after treatment were 28 and 2 cases respectively, with the total effective rate of 93.3%;there were total 30 cases in the control group,in which the numbers of efficacy and inefficacy after treatment were 22 and 8 cases respectively, with the total effective rate of 73.3%.(4)The nail fold microcirculation integrals of each group were reduced significantly after chiropractic, while with time increasing, the effect became weak gradually, but it was still improved comparing to the state before chiropractic. The microcirculation improvement duration of the groups with 7times’ and 9 times’ chiropractic was longer than that of the groups with 3 times’ and 5 times’ chiropractic. Conclusion: Chiropractic therapy has immediate and delay-time effects on improving the microcirculation perfusion state of children with hypotonic cerebral palsy;in a certain range, the increase of therapeutic dose can improve the delay-time effect of microcirculation. The therapy has significant and exact curative effect on improving children’s myodynamia and promoting the development of gross motor function. It is an effective therapeutic method to improve the clinical effect of this disease.
