Clinical Observation On Buzhong Yiqi Decoction And Tongqiaohuoxue Decoction Curing Elderly Patients With Essential Hypertension (Type Of Qi Deficiency And Blood Stasis)

Objective: Observing the blood pressure change, symptom improvement,untoward of effect of elderly patients with essential hypertension under the level of 1 and 2(type of qi deficiency and blood stasis) by the intervention of Buzhong Yiqi decoction and Tongqiao Huoxue decoction,in order to evaluate its clinical curative effect,safety,effect on patients quality of life,viewing to offer a new method of treatment to those patients.Methods: choosing 70 cases of elderly patients who accord with primary hypertension under the level of 1 and 2(type of qi deficiency and blood stasis),randomly assigned them to experimental group and control group,every group contains 35 cases,under the basis of taking western medicine nifedipine 30 mg QD,giving Buzhong Yiqi decoction and Tongqiao Huoxue decoction to experimental group,only giving western medicine nifedipine 30 mg QD to control group, observing period of each group was 4 weeks, general condition, blood routine, urine routine, stool routine,liver function, kidney function,blood pressure of doctor,s office, dynamic blood pressure,changes in patients with symptoms and signs were examined before and after treatment,and assess the quality of life before and after treatment in both groups, and carry on statistics processing.Results:four weeks later,blood pressure of doctor,s office and dynamic blood pressure of experimental group was significantly lower(P < 0.05),in the respect of quality of life,experimental group was obvious better than control group(P<0.05).Those abnormal condition such as general condition, blood routine, urine routine, stool routine, liver function, kidney function was not seen.During the course of treatment,severe untoward effect and other malignant was not seen.Conclusion: Chinese medicine Buzhong Yiqi decoction and Tongqiao Huoxue decoction can significantly reduce blood pressure value of those elderly patients with primary hypertension under the level of 1 and 2(type of qi deficiency and blood stasis), improve the patient’s clinical symptoms, signs and life quality, the total effective rate was high,drug safety,worthy of clinical promotion.
