Objective: Comparison of PFNA treatment efficacy of different blood glucose level of femoral intertrochanteric fracture, provide a reasonable reference for the clinical treatment of diabetic patients with intertrochanteric fractures of the level of blood glucose control.Method: Retrospective analysis of clinical data of 60 cases of intertrochanteric fracture in the Department of orthopedics of the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from October 2015 to December 2014. All patients were treated with proximal femoral nail anti rotation intramedullary nail(PFNA). According to the average blood glucose level of patients during perioperative period, the patients were divided into three groups, A, B and C, 20 cases in each group. The operation of three groups of patients before time, fracture healing time, postoperative infection, Harris hip score standards are documented and discussed, the evaluation of PFNA treatment peri operation period of different blood glucose levels on the clinical effect of femoral intertrochanteric fracture. Results: All patients were followed up for 8 to 4 months with an average of 5.75 months. Results show that: 1、in the preoperative preparation time, the time of group B than in group A and group C, and group C was larger than that of the group A, the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05); 2、in fracture healing time, postoperative infection, Harris hip score and so on, group A and group B without significant difference, difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05), but the situation of group A and group B were better than those of group C, the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion: For the occurrence of diabetic patients with femoral intertrochanteric fracture, good blood glucose control level(≤8.0mmol/L)is conducive to promoting fracture healing, reduce postoperative infection to patients after hip joint function recovery and patients after life quality improved.
