Objectives: Detect of β-catenin, cyclinD1 and c-Myc expressed in prostate cancer, hyperplasia of prostate tissue, To discuss the relationship between the different expression and its biological characteristics, provide experimental basis for the choice of clinical treatment.Method:Samples from 30 patients who underwent TUVP in nanhua druing 2005-2014 were collected, the age of patients were range from 60 to 80. Samples were pathologically diagnosed as PC.At the same period, 20 specimens were collected from inpatients with benign prostatic hyperplasia diagnosed.Immunohistochemistry was used to detect β-catenin, c-Myc and cyclinD1 expressionprostate hyperplasia and prostate cancer samples.Detailed collection each case of age, and the size of the gland, tumor biological characteristics, using SPSS18.0 statistical software to determine the expression difference of beta-catenin, cyclinD1 and c-Myc between prostate cancer and hyperplasia andtheir relationship to patients’ age, gland size, tumor biological characteristics.Results:1. in prostate cancer specimens, positive rate of β-catenin was 70.0%, 25% higher than benign prostatic hyperplasia group, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).In prostate cancer specimens, positive rate of cyclinD1 was 76.7%, 46.7%higher than benign prostatic hyperplasia, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).In prostate cancer specimens, c-Myc expression in prostate cancer was 96.7%, 41.7%higher than benign prostatic hyperplasia, the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).2. Prostate cancer β-catenin, cyclinD1 expression were 70% and 60% respectively, positively related to tumor differentiation, lymph node metastasis, TNM stage(P <0.05).while c-Myc expression were not related to tumor pathological grade, tumor differentiation, lymph node metastasis, TNM stage(P> 0.05)3. bivariate correlation analysis : In prostate cancer, β-catenin expressionshowed positive correlation withcyclinD1(P <0.05), while cMyc showed no correlation to β-catenin or cyclinD1(P> 0.05).4. Beta-catenin, cyclinD1 and c-Myc expression were neither related to patient age, nor the size of the gland.(P > 0.05)Conclusions:1. Compared with hyperplasia of prostate tissue,Beta catenin, cyclinD1 are high expressed in prostate cancer tissues, they have have certain relevance with lymph node metastasis of prostate cancer, Gleason grade, TNM stage.2, Compared with hyperplasia of prostate tissue, c-Myc expression has no significant correlation with lymph node metastasis, Gleason score, TNM stage in prostate cancer patients.
