The Mining Research On Medication Rule Of Yetianshi In Treating Cough

Objectives Use the “traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support platform 2.5”software to systematic analyse the cases in treating cough from the Guide to Clinical Practice with Medical Records, Zhong Fu Tang Gong Xuan Liang Fang, Ye Shi Yi Xiao Mi Chuan, Jing Yue Quan Shu Fa Hui, of Chinese ancient famous doctor Ye Tianshi,discussion and summary weather the prescription and medication rule of Yetianshi in treating cough was accord with the existing knowledge and cognitive system of clinical practice of traditional Chinese medicine for the medicine in treating cough, to strengthen the guiding significance of the prescription of clinical cough, and the promotion of new drug research and development of traditional Chinese medicine.Methods 1 Select the directory contained prescription of Yetianshi in treating cough from Guide to Clinical Practice with Medical Records, Zhong Fu Tang Gong Xuan Liang Fang, Ye Shi Yi Xiao Mi Chuan, Jing Yue Quan Shu Fa Hui; 2 Establish a database for the selected medicical records of the cough; 3 Standardize the medicical records in database and unify the names of prescription and medicines; 4 Input the standardized medical records into the “traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support platform 2.5”software; 5Apply various data mining methods such as frequency statistics, association rules analysis,improved mutual information, complex system entropy cluster, unsupervised entropy hierarchical clustering etc to conduct data analysis from which to search for prescription’s medicine rules, characteristics of prescription,core drug combinations; 6 Explain and analysis the results according to the theory of traditional Chinese medicine and clarify the medication rule of Yetianshi in treating cough.Results1 Select 187 prescriptions of Yetianshi in treating cough from Guide to Clinical Practice with Medical Records, Zhong Fu Tang Gong Xuan Liang Fang, Ye Shi Yi Xiao Mi Chuan, Jing Yue Quan Shu Fa Hui. 2 The medication frequency analysis showed that the ten most frequently used medicines among 187 prescriptions are: poria cocos(61),almond(61), licorice(61), jujube(45), liriope(36), adenophorae(36), mulberry leaves(35),coicis semen(29), ramulus cinnamomi(28), radices paeoniae alba(27). 3 The results of prescription rule based on association rules analysis showed that the front ten frequently appeared medicine suits in medicine combination are: licorice, jujube(28); adenophorae,mulberry leaves(25); mulberry leaves, almond(24); jujube, ramulus cinnamomi(21);adenophorae, almond(21); prepared radix rehmanniae, poria cocos(20); jujube, radices paeoniae alba(19); coicis semen, almond(19); radices paeoniae alba, ramulus cinnamomi(18); yam, poria cocos(18). Astragalus, licorice, jujube; polygonatum odoratum,adenophorae, mulberry leaves; fructus corni, yam, poria cocos are the highest confidence level drug combinations. 4 Based on complex system entropy cluster, analysis of core drug combinations results extracted 25 core combinations of 3-4 drugs of Yetianshi in treating cough. 5 Based on unsupervised entropy hierarchical clustering, get 14 core combinations for the new prescriptions cluster, get 7 new prescriptions to treat cough.Conclusions1 The way for Yetianshi to treat cough does not rigidly adhere a separate dirty organ,against to see cough and cough, strictly examine the etiology and pathogenesis, treatment according to syndrome differentiation, treating from external and internal factors. Not only pay attention to the association between lung and cough,but also strengthening spleen and kidney, consolidating vital base and primordial qi, considering stomach qi and body fluid at the same time. 2 Treating the external cough starting from pathogenic pathogen, as for the cough by dryness pathogen attacking lung, Ye Tianshi use adenophorae, mulberry leaves, almond, and so on to lightly diffusion dryness-heat and moistening lung to arrest cough. 3 As for the internal cough Ye Tianshi use astragalus,ramulus cinnamomi, poria cocos, radices paeoniae alba, jujube, ect, to invigorating spleen and reinforcing deficiency for strengthening earth to generate metal; use prepared radix rehmanniae, fructus corni, yam, schisandra chinensis, ect, to tonifying kidney and essence for receiving qi and consolidating vital; use liriope, glehnia littoralis,caulis dendrobii, and fresh juice etc, to comply with lung like moist but not dry. 4 The“traditional Chinese medicine inheritance support platform 2.5” software, use the data mining results, objectively reflect the medication rules of Ye Tianshi in treating cough,accord with the existing knowledge and cognitive system of clinical practice of traditional Chinese medicine for the medicine in treating cough, shows that the data mining technology is advantage in the medical records and the prescription of traditional Chinese medicine, which is worth our further study.
