| Objective:To appraise the efficacy of low-dose sotalol combined with metoprolol in atrial arrhythmia through the treatment of atrial arrhythmia patients with different anti arrhythmia drugs. Methods:A total 101patients( 46 to 85 years of age) with atrial arrhythmia in the outpatient and inpatient Department of Cardiology of Shanxi Dayi hospital were enrolled in this study. All patients were randomly divided into for cable sotalol group(n=32,S group) and metoprolol group(n = 28,M group)and cable sotalol combined with metoprolol group(n=41,SM group). All patients treated with oral anti-arrhythmia drugs,24 h dynamic electrocardiogram was used to evaluate the effect of treatment before the start of the study and medication after 4 weeks. At the same time, all patients were made12 lead ECG to record the heart rate and calculate the QTc interval. Results:There were no statistical difference of the baseline characteristics(gender, age, body mass index) among three groups(P>0.05).There were no statistical difference of the heart ratel among three groups before the treatment and medication 4 weeks(P > 0.05).There were no statistical difference of the QTc interval among three groups before the treatment(P>0.05), there were significant difference medication 4 weeks(P<0.05).Within each group comparison, there were significant difference before treatment and medication 4 weeks in S group patients(P < 0.05), there were significant difference in M group and SM group(P>0.05).Comparison of efficacy:there were significant differences in the efficiency of each group(P < 0.001), and the efficacy of SM group was better than that of S group and M group(P < 0.05), and the S group was better than M group(P < 0.05).Conclusion :Compared with using sotalol or metoprolol along, low-doses sotalol combined with metoprolol is more effective in improving the cardiac arrhythmias, by reducing the impact on the QTc interval. |
