| ObjectiveTo evaluate the therapeutic efficacy and safety of needle-knife sphincterotomy plus balloon dilation vers routine intubation sphincterotomy, for common bile duct stones.MethodsA totle of 212 patients with common bile duct stones on endoscopic retrograde eholangiopancreat- ography from 2013-2 to 2015-1 were randomly divided into 2 groups to receive needle-knife sphincterotomy (26) or routine intubation sphincterotomy (186) respectively. The success rate of complete stone removal, therates of early and long term complications related to the procedure were compared between the 2 groups.ResultsThe overall successful remove rate between needle-knife sphincterotomy or routine intubation sphincterotomy group was not significantly different (χ2=0.06,P >0.05). The total complication rate was 11.54%(3/26) in receive needle-knife sphincterotomy group. The total complication rate was 12.36% in (23/186) routine intubation sphincterotomy group. NO significant difference were observed in terms of the early and long term complication rates between these two groups(χ2=0.00,P>0.05). The average hospitalization days were compared ((7.6±2.4d) (7.5±2.0d)).(t=0.21,P>0.05).ConclusionThe successful remove rate and complication between needle-knife sphincterotomy or routine intubation sphincterotomy were not significantly different. And it is an safe and effective, convenient for Needle-knife sphincterotomy removal of common bile duct stones. |
