Aim Analysis of postoperative complications for the treatment of calcaneal fractures using of two methods of operation, one is prying technique and internal fixation and the other is open reduction and internal fixation. The study provide reasonable treatment for clinical treatment of calcaneal fractures.Method We collect the 84 patients with calcaneal fractures 1 year later after two different treatment methods as mentioned above in the hospital of Huangpu District.Comparison and analysis of postoperative patients with wound infection situation, fracture delayed union, fracture not healing and the incidence of traumatic arthritis.Result In Sanders typeⅡ,complications of the two groups are relatively low.Compared to open reduction and internal fixation group, the group of prying technique and internal fixation has statistically significant difference in delayed union, nonunion and wound infection(P<0.05),but has no difference of traumatic arthristis. In Sanders type Ⅲ,compared to open reduction and internal fixation, the group of prying technique and internal fixation has statistically significant difference in wound infection situation, fracture delayed union and fracture not healing(P<0.05).But compared to open reduction and internal fixation group, the group of prying technique and internal fixation has statistically difference in traumatic arthritis(P<0.05).Conclusion Two kinds of treatment methods have the similar effect, but it has obvious differences in complications. In Sanders type Ⅱ,the method of prying technique and internal fixation have better curative effect. And in Sanders type Ⅲ,Open reduction and internal fixation is the best therapy of treatment.
