Combined with the current situation of our country the development of public health undertakings for, after "SARS" epidemic, government departments enhanced disease prevention and control mechanism of the construction, and continuous improvement of the public health system, in the provincial, city and county(District) level construction of the Department of disease control and Prevention(CDC), and the original township health and epidemic prevention station, community and epidemic prevention institutions has been transformed, fromhardware to software upgrade the have found the basic function of the epidemic, the epidemic monitoring, control the epidemic. However, due to the lack of national investment and related policy implementation is not in place, the overall disease prevention and control center in China is limited, compared with Europe and the United States, Japan and other developed countries, there is a big gap. Therefore, the prevention and control of disease prevention and control institution building is one of the priorities of the government in the future.The research work of this paper is based on the promotion of Hebei province disease prevention and control institution service ability, from the perspective of regional function, the role of the whole society, the whole. This part takes Hebei Province as an example, introduces the current situation of Hebei Province, CDC service capacity of the survey results. Then compare the survey data in 2002, the previous service ability and the current service capacity for different analysis.The fourth part: the existing problems of disease prevention and control institutions.
