Objective:Cardiovascular disease is the most common death and complications of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The incidence of cardiovascular disease among diabetic patients is 2-4 times higher than that in nondiabetic population.Almost half diabetes died in myocardial infarction or other cardiovascular disease. Some study found that the risk of abnormal body fat distribution especially visceral fat accumulation is significantly increased compared to the normal ones with diabetes and metabolic syndrome.Inbody720,is a safe and noninvasive method of measuring body composition,it has been a very popular health self management tools, measurement data including visceral fat area(VFA),body fat mass, body fat percentage,waist-to-hip ratio fat ratio. The validity of this bioimpedance has been documented in several studies. As its simple operation, less time consumption and low cost,it is suitable for large-scale clinical research, atherogenic index of plasma(AIP),which is the logarithmic transformation of the just-mentioned ratio(TG/HDL-C).It can reflect the sLDL-C grain diameter size and esterification rate of LDL-C,and is a reliable indicator reflecting the degree of atherosclerosis risk.Framingham cardiovascular score(FRS)was founded by the American institute of Framingham, the score was used to assess individual Framingham cardiovascular risk for ten years in future of ten years. At present the studies about the body fat and AIP,Framingham cardiovascular risk for ten years are relatively rare in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. This paper is to study the characteristics of body fat distribution and the relationship between body fat and AIP,Framingham cardiovascular risk for ten years in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, discussing the correlation of body fat and AS and CVD.Methods:1.The population of this study were correlated in Ningyang country of Shandong Province in china. All diabetes 175 met the WHO diagnostic criteria in 1999 and controls 141.2.Participants were classified into four groups according to visceral fat area and diabetes or not:Group A(control VFA<100 cm2)and group B(control VFA ≥00 cm2),group C(diabetes VFA<100 cm2),group D(diabetes VFA ≥ 100 ccm2).175 diabetes are divided into male middle-aged male, elderly male,middle-aged female and elderly female groups about whether age over 60 years old and sex.3.All people record their age, sex, smoking or not, height, weight,Waist circumference(WC),hip circumference(HC).Fasting blood samples were collected in the morning after at least 8 h of fasting for all participants. The serum contains blood lipids(TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C),blood glucose(FPG),insulin(FIINS)and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),serum uric acid(UA).Inbody720 records including:body fat mass, body fat percentage,waist-to-hip fat ratio, visceral fat area.To calculate the BMI,WHR,AIP,HOMA-IR and Framingham cardiovascular risk.4.Data were performed using SPSS version 22.0.Measurement data are presented as mean±standard deviation(SD)variables that were normally distributed, median for variables that were not normally distributed.Adopt independent sample t-test,nonparametric test and single factor variance analysis were used in comparison groups.Correlation analysis used single factor correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis and P value<0.05 was used to characterize statistically significant results.Results:1.The body fat distribution、TG、FINS、HOMA-IR and AIP are higher in diabetes than controls but the HDL-C is lower(P<0.05).2.FPG、HbA1c、HOMA-IR、weight、BMI、WC、TG、UA were lower in control VFA<100cm2 than control VFA≥100cm2.WC、WHR、TG、waist-to-hip fat ratio、VFA、SBP、FFA、FINS、HOMA-IR and AIP are higher in diabetes VFA≥100cm2 than control VFA≥100cm2.The body fat,TG、LDL-C、FINS、HOMA-IR Framingham cardiovascular risk for ten years are higher in diabetes with VFA>100 cm2 than VFA<100 cm2.3.The body fat mass, body fat percentage of female are higher than men and VFA is lower than man.VFA of elderly is higher than in middle-aged,the waist-to-hip fat ratio is higher in older female than older male.VFA≥100cm2,elder and male have greater Framingham cardiovascular risk for ten years.4.AIP is positively correlated with VFA、body fat mas、body fat percentage、waist-to-hip fat ratio、BMI、UA and negatively correlated with HDL-C(p<0.05).There are no correlation with age、sex、WHR、FPG、HbA1c、TC、LDL-C and course of disease.Framingham cardiovascular risk for ten years is positively correlated with age,VFA,waist-to-hip fat ratio,BMI,TG,TC,DBP,SBP.LDL-C,FINS and negatively related with HDL-C.5.Multiple linear regression results with AIP as independent variable line of multivariate linear regression analysis, the results of VFA,TG,HDL-C,UA entered the regression equation,VFA,TG,HDL-C,UA are independent correlated factors for AIP.6.Multiple linear regression with Framingham cardiovascular risk for ten years as the dependent variable, adjusted for gender,BMI,TG,LDL-C,UA and FINS on CVD risk,VFA is the dependent correlated factor for Framingham cardiovascular risk for ten years.Conclusion:1.Patients with type 2 diabetes have higher VFA,body fat mass, body fat percentage,waist-to-hip fat ratio and AIP than control people.2.The AIP and Framingham cardiovascular risk for ten years is higher in VFA≥100cm2 than VFA<100cm2 in patients with type 2 diabetes.3.There are sex difference in body fat distribution among diabetes. The body fat mass, body fat percentage of female are higher than men.VFA of elderly is higher than in middle-aged,the waist-to-hip fat ratio is higher in older female than older male.VFA≥100 cm2 group, elder and male are at higher Framingham cardiovascular risk for ten years.4.There are positive correlation between AIP and body fat mass,waist-to-hip fat ratio,VFA and UA,VFA and UA are the independent correlated factor for AIP;VFA is independent correlated factors of Framingham cardiovascular risk.
