Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of percutaneous kyphoplasty postoperative with the Gushukang Granule on treating osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures.Method:The object of the study was diagnosed as fracture and kyphoplasty in osteoporotic vertebral compression from September 2015 to September 2016 in People’s Hospital of Fujian University of TCM,who was belonged to the asthenia of kidney qi deficiency syndrome according to traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine diagnostic criteria.A total of 60 cases were completely randomized divided into two groups:experimental group:PKP+Gushukang granule and conventional anti-osteoporosis treatment in 30 cases;the control group:PKP+ routine anti-osteoporosis treatment in 30 cases.Since 2 cases were dropped off in the experimental group,the actual completion was 28 cases;the control group fell off in the case of 3 cases,the actual completion was a total of 27 cases.Of the remaining 55 participants were aged from 56~85 years old(average ages in 68.28±6.78 years old),including 15 males and 40 females.There are 55 involved centrums,commonly seen in T11,T12,L1,L2.The VAS score,Ochestry dysfunction index(ODI),bone mineral density(BMD)and imaging index were recorded before operation,1 week,3 months and 6 months after operation.To observe and analyze the clinical efficacy of experimental group and control group in 6 months after operation.Result:1.There was no statistical difference(P>0.05)between the two groups in preoperative general situation(gender,age).2.VAS score:the VAS scores of the two groups after treatment were significantly lower than those before operation,and decreased gradually with the prolongation of time,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).After 1 weeks of treatment,there was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups(P>0.05).There were significant differences between the two groups of the VAS scores in the same period at 3,6 months after treatment.(P<0.05).The results showed that the experimental group was significantly better than the control group,and with the extension of treatment time,the effect is more obvious.3.ODI:the ODI score of the two groups at each follow-up point after treatment was significantly different from preoperation of the two groups(P<0.05),and the ODI score decreased gradually with the prolongation of the course of disease.There was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05)in the 1 weeks after treatment.There were significant differences between the two groups of the ODI scores in the same period at 3,6 months after treatment(P<0.05).The results suggested that the improvement of active dysfunction in the test group is better than the control group,with the medication treatment progress,functional activity recovery more better.4.BMD:there was no significant difference in bone mineral density between the two groups at 1 week after treatment compared with preoperative basic quite(P>0.05);In the two groups after 3 months of preoperative compared with before bone density level was statistically significant(P<0.05),the comparison between the two groups had no significant difference(P>0.05);After 6 months treatment,BMD level is statistically significant between two groups of patients(P<0.05),and the experimental group increased BMD level more obviously,and with a positive correlation between the time of administration and the bone mineral density.5.Imaging indicators:fanterior margin compression height ratio,Cobb angle compared with preoperative respectively in the two groups,there were no significant differences(P>0.05).At 1 week,3 months and 6 months after treatment,the levels of the vertebral body and the Cobb angle were significantly improved in both groups(P<0.05),which can be seen that the PKP operation could make the rapid recovery of vertebral height;At 1 week,3 months and 6 months after treatment,there were no significant differences between the experimental group and control group at the same time compression fanterior flange height ratio and Cobb angle of comparison(P>0.05),and it also shows that the PKP operation could maintain vertebral height and stability.6.Clinical curative effect:the clinical efficacy of the two groups at 6 months after operation,experimental group was markedly effective 39.28%,effect:ive 46.42%,invalid 14.28%,the total efficiency of 85.72%;the control group was markedly effective 14.81%,effective 51.85%,invalid 33.33%,the total efficiency of 66.67%,the difference was statistically significant(P =0.025<0.05).Conclusion:Gushukang granules combined with PKP in.the treatment of OVCF,can quickly relieve pain,improve bone density,restore vertebral height,improve the quality of life,and its near-term effect is certainly worthy of clinical use.
