Now,there are more than 200000000 people over 60 years old in our country,taking 14.9% of all people,and the count will get to 400000000 in 2024,480000000 in 2049.Following the quick growing of elders,medical monitoring for the elders becomes a big social problem.So,providing a necessary medical monitoring is very important at the background of the society.An-elder-oriented wireless health monitoring system based Android smart phone is designed in this paper.The real-time data acquisition terminal worn in the human body will send collected data(temperature 、falling down and pulse)to the computer.The computer needs to compare the received data before sending them to the doctors and guardians.Doctors and guardians can check the real-time health status of the elders with Android smart phone.The doctor can take measures in time and the guardians can refer the real-time by smart phone anytime they want.When abnormal status of the elder is detected,the system will send alarm to the special phone number,inform the guardians and the doctors to take measurements.Another topic of this paper is the medical caring of the elders and data transmission based on Android smart phone.The wireless transmission of health data mainly includes sending the collected data to server,server analyzing and comparing the data,sending the abnormal data to the Android smart phone.The design of Android smart phone includes menu and web guarding.The menu helps the guardian to entering the system quickly and simply.The web guarding helps the guardians check the elders’ health status on time.Once the abnormal status is detected,the guardians can take measures on time.
