Effect Of Dermal-fat Flaps Combined With Cross Suture Support For Correction Of Severe Nipple Inversion

Objective: To explore the effect of dermal-fat flaps combined with cross suture support for correction of severe nipple inversion.Methods: Totally 15 cases with inversed nipple(29 nipples),dermal-fat flaps was used to support the basement of nipple,cross suture under flaps combined with tractor was used to pull nipple for 4 weeks,all cases were followed up for 6-12 months.Results: All patients had no infection or skin necrosis after operation,and the incision healed well.None of the 14 patients after the treatment of papillary blood loss or sensory dysfunction,1 cases of patients with disconnection of the left nipple feeling slightly numb,postoperative recovery of normal at the end of the three month,in the case of 4 patients with lactation needs of patients with postpartum lactation.After 6 months of follow-up,the average height of nipple correction was 0.35 cm,and both of the patients were satisfied with the appearance of corrected nipple.Conclusion: In the treatment of severe nipple inversion,the technique of the dermal-fat flaps combined with cross suture support,show perfect effect and less recurrence rate,is an ideal method for correcting the nipple inversion.
