This thesis comprises three chapters altogether.Chapter one summarized the chemical constituents and bioactivities of the plants of the genus Euphorbia.In the second chapter,the chemical constituents and bioactivities from Euphorbia neriifolia L.were discussed.In the third chapter,conclusions,discussions,and prospects of this dissertation were made.Euphorbia neriifolia(Euphorbiaceae)is a kind of Euphorbia plants.And its main effects are detumescence and analgesia,clearing heat-toxicity,regenerating tissue to heal wond,relieving cough and asthma,and relaxing bowel.However,there are few reports about the chemical constituents and bioactivities of this plant.Its active ingredients and the mechanism of action are unavailable.In order to search for its chemical constituents,and active ingredients,especially new natural active constituents,the stem bark of neriifolia was subjected to phytochemical studies.Using chromatography,spectroscopy technique,48 compounds were isolated from the stem bark of nerufolia.The structure of 43 compounds was identified,including ingenanes,abietanes,isopimaranes,lathyranes,kaurenes,and atisanes and so on.Therr compounds are new ones,namely euphorneroid E(1),euphorneroid F(3),euphorneroid G(5).The known compounds were identified as:eurifoloid A(2),antiquorine A(4),eurifoloid H(6),maniesculentin A(7),yucalexin P-21(8),sandaracopimaradiene-3β,18-diol acetonide(9),sandaracopimaradiene-3β,18-diol(10),2-epiingol-3,7,12-triacetate-8-benzoate(11),ingol-3,8,12-triacetate-7-tiglate(12),3,8,12-O-triacetylingol-7-benzoate(13),3,7,12-O-triacetyl-8-O-tigloylingol(14),3,12-di-O-acetyl-8-O-tigloyl-ingol(15),3,12-diacety lingo 1-7-tigliate(16),3,12-diacetyl-8-benzoylingol(17),7,12-O-diacetyl-8-O-benzoyl-2,3-diepiingol(18),euphorantin M(19),euphorantin R(20),ent-16β,17-isopropylidenedioxy-kauran-3β-ol(21),16a,17-isopropylideno-3-oxo-phyllocladane(22),ent-atisane-1β,16α,17-triol(23),ent-atisane-3β,16a,17-triol(24),antiquorin(25),ent-3β(13S)-Dihydroxyatisan-16-ein14-one(26),eurifoloid N(27),ent-(13R,14R)-13,14-dihydroxyatis-16-en-3-one(28),eurifoloid M(29),ent-3S-hydroxy-atis-16(17)-en-2,14-dione(30),atis-16-en-14-oxo-3β,13(S)-diol(31),ent-(5β,8α,9β,10α,11α,12α)-11-hydro xyatis-16-ene-3,14-dione(32),(23Z)-9,19-cycloart-23-ene-3α,25-diol(33),dibutyl phthalate(34),2-hydroxy-4,6-dimethoxy acetophenone(35),methyl 2,4-hydro xy-3,6-dimethylbenzoate(36),p-hydroxybenzaldehyde(37).methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate(38),6,7,8-trimethoxyl-coumar(39),methyl linolenate(40),methyl linoleate(41),8(Z),11(Z),14(Z)-heptadecatrienoic acid methyl ester(42),methyl 8(Z),11(Z)-Heptadecadienoate(43)。Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis.And then,the effects of several compounds on their anti-inflammation,anti-HIV and the NO production inhibitory activities were tested.Compounds 1 and 2 exhibited significant NO production inhibitory activities,with IC50 values of 6.31 and 5.78 μM.Compounds 15,17,19,and 20 showed significant activities in reversing multidrug resistance in HepG2/ADR.
