Observation On The Effects Of Heshang Powder Fumigation On Wrist Function Recovery After Internal Fixation Of Colles Fractures

Purpose:To objectively evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of HeShangpowder fumigation on the rehabilitation of wrist joint in Colles fracture internal fixation,so as to provide an objective basis for clinical application and carry forward the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in fracture treatment more powerfully.Method:According to the order of patients admitted to hospital in Wuxi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital,60 patients with Colles fractures are randomly divided into test group(TCM fumigation treatment group)and control group(hot water bath treatment group),which in the test group of 30 patients and in the control group of 30 patients.At 3 weeks postoperatively,the Cooney wrist score(wrist activity,grip strength,pain score)and wrist circumference(the finger and the forearm is straight,the measuring point is at the level of the wrist)are measured before treatment.Patients are given HeShangpowder fumigation or the same temperature hot water bath treatment,and the same function rehabilitation training.The changes in wrist activity and wrist circumference were measured at 2 weeks,4 weeks,and 8 weeks after treatment.Ultimately,we use statistical methods to discuss the final outcome.Results:(1)There is no significant difference in Cooney score and wrist circumference between the test group and the control group(P>0.05).There are significant differences in Cooney score and wrist circumference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05).There are significant differences in Cooney score and wrist circumference between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.05).The Cooney score is lower in the test group than in the control group at the 2 weeks,the 4 weeks and the 8 weeks(P<0.05),which suggest that the test group to promote the efficacy of wrist joint rehabilitation is better than the control group.There was no significant difference between the two groups in the second week of treatment(P>0.05).After 4 weeks and 8 weeks treatment,the wrist circumference of the experimental group was statistically significant compared with the control group which suggests that the test group to promote the amelioration of wrist circumference is better than the control group after a period of treatment(P<0.05).(2)30 cases of experimental group of patients in the course of treatment do not appear adverse skin reactions and systemic symptoms,which prompts the safety of HeShangpowder in clinical fumigation applications.Conclusion:(1)HeShangpowder fumigation with rehabilitation exercise,can promote Colles fracture internal fixation patients wrist function rehabilitation.(2)HeShangpowder clinical fumigation application effect is sure and no adverse.
