The Clinical Observation Of Using Shaoyao Decoction Combined With XELOX Program In Colorectal Cancer Postoperation Belong To Accumulation Of Damp-Heat Type

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy and safety evaluation of Shaoyao decoction combined with the program of XELOX(Capecitabine and Oxaliplatin)in colorectal cancer postoperation belong to accumulation of damp-heat Type.Methods:In this study,80 cases were randomly divided into treatment group and control group(n=40).The control group was treated with XELOX program alone.The treatment group was treated with Shaoyao Decoction on the basis of chemotherapy.A total of 4 cycles were observed.Statistical analysis was used to evaluate the changes of tumor markers,KPS scores,TCM syndrome scores,adverse reactions after chemotherapy,and safety parameters before and after treatment.Results:1.In the TCM syndrome score,After 4 cycles of treatment,the score of the treatment group was obviously lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Compared two groups of single symptom curative effect including the abdominal distension and pain,unformed stool and uncomfortable defecation,burning pain in anus,tenesmus,loss of appetite,hemafecia,the relief of these symptoms in the treatment group was superior to those of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.In terms of KPS score,after 4 cycles of treatment,the efficacy of treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.In reducing the level of tumor markers CEA and CA199 after 4 cycles of treatment,compared the degree of decline of CEA and CA199 respectively between the two groups,both CEA,s and CA199’s levels in the treatment group were much lower than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).5.In terms of adverse reactions including nausea and vomiting,diarrhea,hand-foot syndrome and neurotoxicity,the incidence was less in the treatment group.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Shaoyao decoction combined with adjuvant chemotherapy can reduce the TCM syndrome scores,reduce the clinical symptoms,improve KPS scores of colorectal cancer postoperation belong to accumulation of damp-heat type to improve the quality of life of patients.2.Shaoyao decoction combined with adjuvant chemotherapy can reduce tumor markers including CEA,CA199.3.Shaoyao decoction can reduce the adverse reactions caused by adjuvant chemotherapy.
