Objective:It is suggested that the speed-skating can cause the changes of patellar cartilage and meniscus tissue structure in adolescents, leading to changes in the quantitative parameters of MRI?Whether the difference in parameters of T2 mapping,T2 star and Resolve DWI between adolescent speed skaters and normal adolescent about knee patellar cartilage and meniscus is statistically significant. Methods:Object of study:a randomly selected group of 39 students in a secondary school in the second grade was included in the normal control group;a randomly selected group of 28 skaters in a speed skating training base was randomly divided into experimental group?Magnetom Skyra system,Siemens(3.0T),knee dedicated coil, supine position, foot firstly about the subject were used to scan? The data were gotten by double-blind method? The data were analyzed by SPSS 19.0.The data were analyzed by normal distribution. If the data is complying with normal distribution, mean ± standard deviation is used, and between the two in groups are by independent-sample t-test for statistical analysis;if not consistent with the normal distribution with the median, nonparametric test can be used for statistical analysis? The two in a group compared accord to the q-test?That p is less than 0.05 is statistically significant.Results:1.Patellar cartilage T2 value(24.02 ± 4.25),ADC value(1158.49 ± 203.63)in normal group were lower than that of the experimental group(29.07 ± 7.17),(1578.48 ± 294.28),P?0.05,so the difference was statistically significant;the T2* value(22.71 ± 3.24)in the normal group was lower than that in the experimental group(23.72 ± 5.95),P>0.05,so the difference was not statistically significant?2.Medial meniscus anterior horn T2 value(18.64±3.88),ADC value(773.53±272.46)in normal group were lower than that of the experimental group(22.92±4.82)?(1178.60±234.80),P?0.05,so the difference was statistically significant;the T2* value(5.98±2.26)in the normal group was lower than that in the experimental group(6.83±2.28),P>0.05,so the difference was not statistically significant?3.Medial meniscus posterior horn T2 value(17.37±6.57),ADC value(741.75±159.19)in normal group were lower than that of the experimental group(21.41±3.76),(1130.44±268.39),P<0.05,so the difference was statistically significant;the T2* value(7.85±3.30)in the normal group was lower than that in the experimental group(8.30±2.34),P>0.05,so the difference was not statistically significant?4.The T2* value(19.27±4.70)in the experimental group was lower than that in the normal group(19.55±7.05),and lateral meniscus anterior horn T2 value(6.39±1.96),ADC value(734.01±252.72)in normal group were lower than that of the experimental group(6.67±1.66),(857.21±243.89),P>0.05,so the difference was not statistically significant?5.Lateral meniscus posterior horn T2 value(15.26±2.47),T2* value(6.90±1.58),ADC value(881.00±114.00)in normal group were lower than that of the experimental group(17.16±4.24),(8.54±5.99),(1026.11±258.75),P>0.05,so the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion:1.There were differences in T2 value and ADC value of patellar cartilage between adolescent speed skaters and normal adolescents?2.There were differences in the T2 and ADC values between the adolescent skaters and the normal adolescents.
