| Objective:To observe the effect of NMES technique combined with swallowing training on swallowing function and swallowing related muscle signals in patients with post-stroke dysphagia.Methods:60 patients with post-stroke dysphagia were randomly divided into control group and treatment group by random number table. The control group was given swallowing training. The treatment group was treated with neuromuscular stimulation on the control group. Before and after treatment, the swallowing function was evaluated by the Qantai drinking water test and the standard swallowing function evaluation scale(SSA).The changes of the swallowing time and mean amplitude of the submental and sublingual muscles were assessed by surface electromyography.Results:1.There was no significant difference between the two groups in the drinking water test grade and SSA score before treatment(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, the scores of drinking water test grade and SSA in the treatment group were better than those in the control group(P<0.05),and there was significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).2.There was no significant difference in the time of swallowing and the mean amplitude between the two groups of submental muscles and sublingual muscles before treatment(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, the duration of swallowing and the mean amplitude of the treatment group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05),which was statistically significant.Conclusion:1.NMES technology combined with swallowing training to improve post-stroke swallowing function, better than simple swallowing training.2.NMES technique combined with swallowing training can shorten the subcutaneous muscle group, sublingual muscle swallowing time, improve the average amplitude, improve the coordination of swallowing muscle groups after dysphagia in stroke patients. |
