Nurses’ Pre-service Training Effect Evaluation Based On Kirkpatrick Model And Infliuence Factors Analysis

Objective:This study is based on the actual needs of the training of nurses,Through the nurse pre-service training effect of multi-dimensional,the different levels of analysis,to have a clear and comprehensive cognition on training effect,and to discover the problems arising from the training.Describing the training effect in qualitative and quantitative way but not the way of subjective qualitative judging,which provides helpful reference for behavior promotion and quantity improvement.Method:Acquire the satisfaction and opinion of nurse and pre-job training involved persons by questionnaire survey and semi-structural interview based on the four evaluation levels of Kirkpatrick Model.Compare and assess nurses,behavior by satisfaction survey,result contrastive analysis before and after the training and combining self-assessment and other-assessment.Confirm the influence factors by factor analysis.And all the statistic analysis of data is completed with SPSS statistical software.Result:On the response level,the nurses feel very satisfied with the pre-job training generally takes 65%;others don’t feel satisfied obviously takes 4%,which is mainly from the training schedule,teaching and practice guiding quality and department ambient.On the study level,the scores before and after training are respectively 61.04±6.81 and 76.11 ±7.48;in rotation,the average scores in the first and second half year are respectively 73.3 and 78.5.On the behavior level,most of the nurses are suitable to the present work model,86%nurses keep the enthusiasm to their own work;nurses have an obvious improvement at the daily work expression,nurse-patient communication and dealing with the emergency;nurses’ insufficient is the weakness of clinical thinking ability and teamwork consciousness.On the result level,the occurrence rate of adverse event reduces 43%,the number of commendatory letter increases 35%.In the competition of excellent nurse,they win a higher award.Five common factors are extracted in the factor analysis,which are cyclical surrounding and teacher,the attention degree to training of organize manager,the teaching ability of lecturer,the personal factor of student,facility and surroundings of training.Conclusion:The effect of pre-job training is outstanding,and the nurses have an improvement on knowledge,technology and clinical practice ability.But there is still a deficiency in the arrangement of hours,the theory and the actual combination,etc.There are five key factors affecting the quality of training,to target hospitals according to existing problems,the key factors affecting the make improvement countermeasures,in order to enhance the nurse pre-service training quality.
