Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy With Modified Xuanbi Tongluo Decoction

Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Xuanbi Tongluo Decoction in the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy of phlegm and blood stasis syndrome.Methods: This study was clinical curative effect research,72 cases were divided into control group(n=35)and treatment group(n=37),two groups were given basic treatment,control group oral treatment of Mecobalamin Tablets,on the basis of the control group,treatment group was treated with Xuanbi Tongluo Decoction.The end of 8 weeks treatment were compared between the two groups before and after treatment of vibration perception threshold,ankle brachial index,TCM syndrome score,toronto clinical score system,and other indicators of change,to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Xuanbi Tongluo Decoction.Results:(1)VPT: After treatment,the improvement of left and right VPT in the treatment group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).(2)ABI: After treatment,there was no significant difference between the two groups in the changes of the left and right leg ABI(P>0.05).(3)TCM syndrome points: Two groups after treatment compared with before treatment,TCM syndrome score decreased significantly(P<0.05),the scores of limb numbness,body weight and fatigue were improved in the treatment group compared with those in the control group(P<0.05).(4)Comprehensive effect of TCM symptoms: The total effective rate of the treatment group was 81.1%,and that of the control group was 62.9%,the total effective rate of the treatment group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).(5)TCSS: After treatment,the symptom score and TCSS score of the treatment group were better than those of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: Xuanbi Tongluo Decoction combined with Mecobalamin Tablets treat DPN in the improvement of TCM syndrome integral,TCSS,VPT has better effect than the pure Mecobalamin Tablets treatment.
