Morphological Measurements Of Different Facial Contours And Aesthetic Difference Analyses In Modern Han Chinese Young Women

Objective To analyze the difference of modern Han Chinese young women with “inverted triangular face” and “diamond face” in hard and soft tissue of facial contours,and to measure the morphology datas in mandibular angle areas of “pretty face”(inverted triangular face,oval face)and “general face”(expect the "pretty face"),as well as providing numerical basis for the aesthetic judgment and facial remodeling operation.Methods By the standard of “8 kinds of facial contour classification in modern Han Chinese women”,the facial contour evaluation team elected 12 cases of “pretty face” and 18 cases of “diamond face” from 200 cases of modern Han Chinese young women,ages 18 to 28 years old,who were investigated from June 2015 to February 2016.Craniofacial CT(Computed tomography)scanning,three-dimensional reconstruction and a number of hard and soft tissue morphology measurements were applied in these cases.Also by the same standard,the facial contour evaluation team elected 12 cases of “pretty face” and 26 cases of “general face” from 150 cases of modern Han Chinese young women,ages 20 to 26 years old,who were investigated from June 2015 to June 2016.Craniofacial CT(Computed tomography)scanning,three-dimensional reconstruction and a number of hard and soft tissue morphology measurements in mandibular angle area were applied in these cases.Measuring datas were aboved by SPSS19.0 software and the two independent sample t-test,with a mean ± standard deviation(X ±s),setting the inspection level alpha as 0.05 stat,istically significant differences(P < 0.05),to find out the morphological structure difference between “inverted triangular face” and “diamond face”,as well as the hard and soft tissue morphology measurements difference between “pretty face” and “general face” in mandibular angle areas.Results 1.12 of the 30 datas of hard and soft tissue morphological facial contour income measures in “inverted triangular face” and “diamond face” were statistically significant:(1)In horizontal measurements: Osseous width above,width above,index of osseous width above and middle and index of width above and middle were statistically significant(P < 0.05)and “diamond face” < “inverted triangular face”;width below,index of osseous width below and middle and index of width below and middle were statistically significant(P < 0.05),and “diamond face” > “inverted triangular face”.(2)The distance between gonion and pogonion and the masseter length,width and thickness were statistically significant,and “diamond face” > “inverted triangular face”.Different angle values of mandibular angle were statistically significant,and “diamond face” < “inverted triangular face”;(3)Longitudinal difference and index had no statistical significance(P > 0.05).2.9 of the 10 datas of mandibular Angle area income measures in “pretty face” and “general face” were statistically significant:(1)The osseous width below,width below,mandibular width and height,and the distance between gonion and pogonion were statistically significant(P< 0.05),and “pretty face” < “general face”.(2)Different angle values of mandibular angle were statistically significant,and “pretty face” > “general face”;(3)Different values of the masseter length,width and thickness were statistically significant,and “pretty face” < “general face”;(4)Different thickness values of mandibular angle were not statistically significant(P > 0.05).Conclusions 1.The specific differences of different facial contours in modern Han Chinese young women can be shown on many aspects,such as the entirety of facial contour,the part of mandibular angle area,specific value and index.Morphology measurements can provide numerical basis for the facial remodeling operation.2.The morphological differences of “inverted triangular face” and “diamond face” mainly reflect on the transverse form,index and masseter form.Clinical doctors can increase the width above and the index of width above and middle by filling tempus and more.Also they can narrow width below and reduce the index of width below by masseter injection of botulinum toxin,among other routes.Consequently,achieving the purpose of “diamond face” transforming to “inverted triangular face”.3.Compared with “general face”,“pretty face” has smaller length,width and thickness of a number of hard and soft income measures in mandibular angle area and bigger mandibular angle,and the lower facial contour is nice and slender with soft curves.Referring to a number of hard and soft income measures in mandibular angle area of “pretty face” and combining with the desire of each beauty seeker,clinical doctors can choose more appropriate operation method during the lower facial remodeling operation.
