ObjectiveTo investigate the accuracy of Dermatoscopy in determinating tumor borders and explore the regulation of TCM constitution of basal cell carcinoma.MethodsThe patients were enrolled in the study basing on the indusion and exclusion criteria.Dermatoscopic examinations were performed to determinate the tumor borders.Marked and taked photos. The lesions were treated with Mohs micrographic surgical excision.Intraoperative frozen biopsy and histopathology were performed to ascertain the accurate tumor borders. The border gaps between dermatoscopy and histopathology were calculated.Conducted a survey about TCM Constitution of the patients.ResultsAn average(0.0578 ± 1.1539)mm were calculated in the length of the gaps between dermatoscopically determined borders and histopathological ones. There was no statistical difference between them.(t=0.309,P=0.759>0.05)Most BCC patients were pathological constitution and the former three types of constitution were Yin-deficiency type、Yang-deficiency type and Wet-heattype.ConclusionDermatoscopically determined borders almost exactly corresponded to the histopathologic ones in bascal cell carcinoma. To apply dermatoscopic detection in tumor borders before operations enables Mohs Micrographic surgical resection more efficiently. Most basal cell carcinoma patients were Yin-deficiency constitution,Yang-deficiency constitution and Wet-heat constitution.
