ObjectivePain caused by adenomyosis has a dramatic impact on patients’ work and daily life, which severely reduces the quality of patients’ lives. Therefore I compared operative treatment with other therapeutic regimen in relieving the pain of adenomyosis, aiming to provide a direction in searching for an effective way to relieving the pain of adenomyosis.MethodsI collected 204 qualified adenomyosis outpatients in our hospital from December 2016 to February 2017 which fitting in with my inclusion criteria and made retrospective telephone follow-ups.Patients who have received expectant treatment, medical treatment and operative treatment are classified into three groups A,B,C.The pain properties of adenomyosis include dysmenorrhea, chronic abdominal pain, algopareunia, and fecal pain.Pain was divided into grade 0,1,2,and 3 according to the VRS method(Verbal rating scale). From these telephone follow-ups,I analyze the pain relief condition and relapse condition of adenomyosis cases in which patients received different treatments.ResultsThese groups are comparable since there are no significant differences in age, years of dysmenorrhea, childbirth times, pregnancy times and menstruation condition.Expectant treatment has no significant curative effect on relieving adenomyosis patients’ dysmenorrhea and algopareunia, while medical treatment and operative treatment have significant curative effects.Compared with expectant treatment, medical treatment and operative treatment significantly increase the remission rate and complete remission rate of adenomyosis patients’dysmenorrhea and algopareunia;Operative treatment significantly increases the complete remission rate of adenomyosis patients’ dysmenorrhea when compared with medical treatment; There is no significant difference in remission rate and recurrence rate of adenomyosis patients’ dysmenorrhea and algopareunia and the complete remission rate of adenomyosis patients’ algopareunia.ConclusionsMedical treatment and operative treatment have significant curative effect on relieving adenomyosis patients’ dysmenorrhea and algopareunia.Operative treatment has a higher remission level of adenomyosis patients’ dysmenorrhea than medical treatment. In the recurrence condition of algopareunia and dysmenorrhea, there is no distinct difference between medical treatment and operative treatment.
