Objective:To analyze the survival time and its related factors amongHIV-infected individuals and AIDS patients in Xinjiang Yining city from 2006to2015.Methods :A retrospective cohort study was conducted to analyze the information of 6437HIV-infected individuals and AIDS patients. The data were collected from Chinese HIV/AIDS Comprehensive Information Management System.Life table method was applied to calculate the survival proportion, and Kaplan-Merier and Cox proportion hazard regression model were used identify the factors related to survival time. Results:Among the 6437 cases, the estimated age of HIV / AIDS was 18 to 87 years(mean,39.5± 8.4)years;Male 4209 cases accounted for 65.4%,women 2228 cases accounted for34.6%;marital status married 3787 cases accounted for 58.8%,accounted for 19.5% of1256 cases of unmarried, divorced or widowed in 1358 cases accounted for 40.6%;Infection pathways were 2873 cases of injecting drugs accounted for 44.6%,3243 cases of heterosexual transmission accounted for 50.4%,45 cases of homosexual sex transmission accounted for 0.7%,sexual transmission and injection of 16 cases of drug transmission accounted for 0.2%,not yet clear and other transmission channels 260 cases Accounting for 4.0%;In the proportion of education, illiterate 409 cases accounted for6.4%,primary school 2639 cases accounted for 41%,junior high school 2192 cases accounted for 34.1%,high school or secondary school 891 cases accounted for 13.8%,college and above 256 cases accounted for 4% 0.8%;the duration for the diagnosis of HIV infection in 4084 cases accounted for 63.4%,2353 cases of AIDS patients accounted for 36.6%;In 6437 cases of HIV / AIDS patients received antiviral treatment of 3687 cases accounted for 57.3%;did not receive anti-viral treatment of 2750 cases accounted for 42.7%;1016(15.8%)died of AIDS related diseases;3687(57.3%)received antiretroviral therapy. The average survival time was 100.0(98.9~101.1)months,and thesurvival rate in 1,3,5,7,9 years were 93.0%,86.0%,82.0%,80.0%,and 78.0%respectively.Univariate analysis showed a significant difference in survival time of age diagnosed as HIV/AIDS Patients, gender, nationality, transmission route,AIDS phase,CD4+T cell counts in the last testing, receiving antiretroviral therapy or not.Multivariate Cox regression showed age diagnosed HIV/AIDS below 45 years old(18 ~ 29 years old :HR=0.339,95%CI:0.172~0.665;30~years old:HR=0.800,95%CI:0.666~0.961),HIV infection diagnosed phase(HR=0.334,95%CI:0.270~0.412),CD4+T cell counts in the last testing≥350 个/μl(HR=0.281,95%CI:0.222~0.356)reduced the risk of dying of AIDS related diseases among AIDS patients. The patients having not received antiretroviral therapy had a higher risk of death(HR=0.243,95%CI:0.204~0.290)compared to those who received antiretroviral therapy. Conclusion : Survival time of AIDS patients was possibly mainly influenced by the age of diagnosed as AIDS patients,AIDS phase,CD4+T cell counts in and whether or not received antiretroviral therapy. The early initiation of antiretroviral therapy could extend the survival time.
