Objective: To investigate the relationship between the Neutrophil to Lymphocyte Ratio and long-term mortality in patients with type A acute aortic dissection. Methods: A total of 106 patients with AAAD were enrolled in the First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University, collect basic data, laboratory index,treatment,follow-up and other clinical related data;Patients were grouped by the identified cut-off values of NLR=4.88,,SPSS 22 software was used to investigate the relationship between the NLR and mortality in patients with type AAAD.Results: 71 cases(67%)of 106 patients with AAAD died during the study,The receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve analysis was performed 4.88 is the best cut-off value of the NLR in the prediction of mortality with a sensitivity of 69% and specificity of 40%.The Kaplan-Meier survival analysis showed that the mortality rate of high NLR group was significantly higher than that of low NLR group.Multiple factor Logistic regression analysis shows that NLR(>4.88)is an independent risk factor for mortality in patients with AAAD(OR=3.70,95%CI:1.39-9.80,P=0.009).Conclusion: High NLR value is an independent risk factor for short and long-term mortality in patients with AAAD,and it has a certain reference value for the early risk stratification.
