Objective A study of the EUS to evaluate the prognosis of pancreatic pseudocyst, and the factors affecting the prognosis of pancreatic pseudocystMethod A retrospective analysis of clinical data of pancreatic pseudocyst patients from January 2014 to October 2016 who underwent conservative therapy from the Digestive System Department in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University. The clinical data, the results of the EUSabout the pancreatic pseudocyst and the prognosis of these 42 pancreatic pseudocyst patients are collected, and the patients are followed up.According to the follow-up outcome, patients are divided into remission group and no-remission group. And the collected data of two groups were compared and analyzed statistically.Result 1.Among 33 cases of pancreatic pseudocysts less than or equal to 6cm,10 of them achieved symptomatic relief;while among 15 cases of pancreatic pseudocysts larger than 6cm,3 cases of them achieved symptomaticrelief(P>0.05).2.Among 22 cases of pancreatic pseudocysts resulting from acute pancreatitis,8 of them achieved symptomatic relief;while among 20 cases of pancreatic pseudocysts resulting from chronic pancreatitis,no one achieved symptomatic relief(P=0.004).3.Among 27 cases of pancreatic pseudocysts with single cyst,6 of them achieved symptomatic relief;while among 15 cases of pancreatic pseudocysts with more then one cysts,2 of them achieved symptomatic relief(P>0.05).4.Among 10 cases of pancreatic pseudocysts with cysts located at pancreatic head,3 of them achieved symptomatic relief;among38 cases of pancreatic pseudocysts with cysts located in pancreatic body and tail,10 of them achieved symptomatic relief(P>0.05).5.Among 11 cases of pancreatic pseudocysts with separation inside the cyst,no one achieved symptomatic relief;among 37 cases of pancreatic pseudocysts without separation inside the cyst,13 of them achieved symptomatic relief(P=0.023).6.Among 20 cases of pancreatic pseudocysts with solid contents inside the cyst,no one achieved symptomatic relief;among 28 cases of pancreatic pseudocysts without solid contents inside the cyst,13 of them achieved symptomatic relief(P=0).7.Among 7 cases of pancreatic pseudocysts with pancreoliths inside the pancreatic duct,no one achieved symptomatic relief;among 35 cases of pancreatic pseudocysts without pancreoliths inside the pancreatic duct,8 of them achieved symptomatic relief(P > 0.05).8.Among 9cases of pancreatic pseudocysts with a dilated pancreatic duct,no one achieved symptomatic relief;among 33 cases of pancreatic pseudocysts without a dilated pancreatic duct,8 of them achieved symptomatic relief(P>0.05).Conclusion 1.EUS has a crucial and particular value in showing various features of pancreaticpseudocyst and predict the clinical outcome of these patients.2.The prognosis of pancreatic pseudocyst mayrelate to multiple factors.Pancreatic pseudocysts patients resulting from acute pancreatitis, without separation inside the cyst,or without solid contents inside the cyst could be easier to achieved natural relief.3.Pancreatic pseudocysts patients resulting from chronic pancreatitis or with separation inside the cyst,or with solid contents inside the cyst,or with pancreoliths inside the pancreatic duct,or with a dilated pancreatic duct are suggested to timely operation or endoscope intervention.
