Objective : To retrospectively analyze the clinical characteristics of 71 patients with acute renal injury caused by PQ poisoning and to analyze the risk factors of acute renal injury in patients with PQ poisoning, and to provide clinical reference for the evaluation of disease and improvement of prognosis of paraquat poisoning patients. Methods: The clinical data of paraquat poisoning patients who were hospitalized from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from September 2013 to December 2016 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into renal injury group and no renal injury group.Analysis of its epidemiological data, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests, imaging studies, organ damage and other clinical data. Results: 1.AKI group and non-AKI group of patients compared with the general clinical data,AKI group of patients taking the amount of poisoning to our hospital treatment time difference was statistically significant(P <0.05);2.Paraquat poisoning caused by AKI is mainly renal, mostly acute renal tubular injury or necrosis, but oliguria are rare, mainly for proteinuria, hematuria, urinesugar, granular tube;3.Among the 71 cases of acute paraquat poisoning,48 cases(67.7%)had acute renal injury,26 cases died(26/48),39 cases had MODS(26/48),23 cases had no acute renal injury,1 case(1/23),1 case of MODS(1/23),the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);4.Of the all patients with acute renal injury, five patients presented in first period,no death case, one of five patients suffend from MODS in first period;nine patients presented in second period, three death case, seven of nine patients suffend from MODS in second period;34 patients presented in second period,23 death case,31 of 34 patients suffend from MODS in third period;5.The difference of white blood cell count,ALT,AST,CK-MB,oxygen partial pressure, albumin and heart rate were statistically significant(P <0.05);6.Logistic regression analysis showed that the occurrence of acute renal injury caused by paraquat poisoning was associated with WBC count, heart rate, and albumin.Conclusion:1.paraquat to AKI patients with mortality,MODS incidence and severity of renal injury is positively correlated;2.WBC,HR increased, and ALB Reduced risk factors for acute renal injury in patients with PQ poisoning.
