Objective: Based on this research, retrospectively analyze the related clinical data and literature review of glioma patients, analyze and discuss the related factors that influence the prognosis of glioma, not only help to evaluate the prognosis of patients before operation, but also provide theory basis for glioma individualized treatment, so as to further improve the prognosis of patients. Methods: Retrospectively study the clinical data of 101 patients Admitted and diagnosed with glioma in the NO.2 department of neurosurgery of the first affiliated hospital of kunming medical university from May 14,2012 to June 11,2012,on basis of consulting related documents and literature, analyse 21 clinical factors including gender, age, blood type, occupation, preoperative BMI,preoperative KPS score, duration of symptom, preoperative presence of headache symptom or not, preoperative presence of vomiting symptom or not, preoperative presence of epilepsy symptom or not, tumor main location, involve in the frontal lobe or not, involve in the temporal lobe or not.number of involved lobe, maximum diameter of tumor, the preoperative MRI enhancement scanning enhanced or not, the midline shift or not, degree of tumor resection, pathological classification. Ki-67, postoperative adjuvant treatment or not, conduct a univariate surial analysis by Kaplan-Meier method first, calculate their survival rate respectively with the Log-rank test analysis, for statistically significant factors, then further analyse them with Cox multivariate regression analysis. Results:The univariate analysis show among 21 clinical factors, ten factors have statistical significance. The ten factors include age(P=0.000),preoperative presence of headache symptom or not(P=0.003).preoperative presence of vomiting symptom or not(P=0.004),preoperative presence of epilepsy symptom or not(P=0.000),the preoperative MRI enhancement scanning enhanced or not(P=0.009),the midline shift or not(P=0.000),degree of tumor resection(P=0.009), pathological classification(P=0.000),Ki-67(P=0.000),postoperative adjuvant treatment or not(P=0.003).The multivariate analysis show five factors are independent risk factors influencing the prognosis of patients with glioma. The five factors include age(P=0.014),preoperative presence of epilepsy symptom or not(P=0.044),degree of tumor resection(P=0.000),pathological classification(P=0.001),postoperative adjuvant treatment or not(P=0.001).Conclusions:1.The gender, blood type, occupation, preoperative BMI,preoperative KPS score, duration of symptom, preoperative presence of headache symptom or not.preoperative presence of vomiting symptom or not, tumor main location, involve in the frontal lobe or not, involve in the temporal lobe or not, number of involved lobe.maximum diameter of tumor, the preoperative MRI enhancement scanning enhanced or not, the midline shift or not.Ki-67 are not the independent risk factors that influence the prognosis of patients with glioma.2. Age <50 years old, preoperative presence of epilepsy symptom, resect most or all of the tumor, pathology grade Ⅰ-Ⅱ,receive postoperative radiotherapy or chemoradiotherapy are prognostic factors that are beneficial to patients with glioma, and vice versa.
