Objective: This study focus on the clinical effect on deeply needling and meridian-unblocking acupuncture therapy combined with du moxibustion of lumbosacral portion treating the cold-damp Bi-syndrome of TCM in lumbar intervertebral disk protrusion.To make sure whether this treatment is equivalent or more effective than the simple acupuncture therapy.According to this research to provide a new method for promoting the curative effect.Method: Forty-six patients with cold and dampness-type lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into observation group and control group.The control group was treated with acupuncture at Dachangshu(BL 25),Guanyuanshu(BL 26),Zhibian(BL 54),Weizhong(BL 40),Yanglingquan(GB 34),Kunlun(BL 60),Baihui(DU 20),The observation group was treated with the lumbosacral moxibustion on the basis of the acupoints of the control group.The scores of the JOA and the VAS pain were recorded before and after treatment.Result: Two groups of treatment of lumbar disc herniation can achieve better clinical efficacy.But the deeply needling and meridian-unblocking acupuncture therapy with the lumbosacral moxibustion compared to deeply needling and meridian-unblocking acupuncture therapy,has a better clinical efficacy.Conclusion: In the treating lumbar disc herniation,the deeply needling and meridian-unblocking acupuncture therapy combined with du moxibustion of lumbosacral portion can promoting the curative effect.
