Objectives To explore factors influencing self-efficacy for self-management in patients with differentiated thyroid carcinoma undergoing radiotherapy, and to understand relationships between personal, anxious and social support and self-reported levels of self-efficacy for self-management.In order to provide reference for clinical medical workers,so as to effectively enhance the differentiated thyroid carcinoma underwent RAI treatment response to disease patient’s ability of self management behavior. Methods This study is a cross-sectional study, patients with convenience sampling were selected from four third-grade hospitals for differentiated thyroid cancer after treatment with RAI,patients with relevant information collected by questionnaire.Use the file content of this investigation includes: Patients with general demographic data, disease related information design,Chinese version SUPPH,Social Support Rate Scale,Hospital Anxiety Depression Scale,EORTC QLQ-C30 and Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire.Using SPSS22.0 software to input the data and data analysis, statistical methods include descriptive analysis, single factor analysis: the ANOVA variance analysis, independent samples t test,Pearson correlation analysis, multivariate analysis using stepwise regression analysis,P(27)0.05,the difference was statistically significant. Results The total score of self-management self-efficacy of patients with differentiated thyroid cancer after RAI treatment was(89.71±19.45).Different marital status, education level, caregivers, payment of medical expenses, family income, personality types, physical exercise, awareness, onset time, pathological stage, lymph node metastasis, tumor size and recurrence risk stratification were significant difference between the scores of self-efficacy and self-efficacy(P(27)0.05),Physical,role,cognitive,emotional,social and other functional areas and the overall health status of patients, face, avoidance, social support and selfefficacy were positively correlated;Anxiety, depression, fatigue, nausea and vomiting, pain, insomnia, loss of appetite, financial difficulties, yield and self-efficacy were negatively correlated. Finally there are 12 variables into the regression equation, according to the degree of influence from large to small order are: face, yield, informed, recurrence risk stratification, depression, personality type, lymph node metastasis, avoidance, pathological stage, economic difficulties, residential areas, taking iodine frequency;12variables to explain myself the management of patients with the efficacy level of 72% of the total variance. Conclusions Patients with differentiated thyroid cancer after RAI treatment of patients with self-management self-efficacy in general level.Self management of postoperative RAI treatment of differentiated thyroid cancer patients self-efficacy level influence factors according to the influence from large to small order are: face, yield, informed, complex risk stratification, recurrent depression, personality type, lymph node metastasis, avoidance, pathological stage, economic difficulties, living area and iodine number.Medical coping style, positive and optimistic character, reduce the economic burden of the patients,to hide the condition is beneficial to improve patient self-management self-efficacy level;residential area of the city, taking iodine fewer times and recurrence risk stratification and pathological staging in patients with lower self management self-efficacy level is relatively high.
