Efficacy Of Anti VEGF Drugs Combined With Glucocorticoid In Treatment Of Diabetic Macular Edema

Objectives Objective to investigate the therapeutic effect of anti vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)combined with glucocorticoid on diabetic macular edema.Methods Will our hospital diagnosed as diabetic macular edema 96 cases of patients were matching divided into simple glucocorticoid group and anti VEGF drugs combined with glucocorticoid treatment combined treatment group,48 cases in each group,there were 26 males,average(50.4 + 4.2)years;22 were female,the average(53.7 + 3.9)years old.Inclusion criteria: all cases were diagnosed with diabetes,and confirmed by fluorescein angiography and optical coherence tomography(DME),and exclude other ocular diseases that affect OCT examination.Simple glucocorticoid group treated with corticosteroid injection in the treatment of vitreous body in combined treatment group,using anti VEGF drugs and glucocorticoid group combined with vitreous body injection,injection of gatifloxacin eye drops before conventional instillation of 4 /d,continuous 3D.Through the observation of the two groups before and after treatment of BCVA,TMV and CRT value change,the degree of change of macular edema and leakage type changes of visual acuity in two groups,the therapeutic effect of two treatment methods on treatment of diabetic macular edema.Results After 12 months of treatment,simple glucocorticoid group and anti VEGF drugs combined with glucocorticoid treatment combined treatment group BCVA,TMV,CRT,macular edema severity and leakage type indicators were compared with before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),two groups were effective;joint simple treatment group and glucocorticoid treatment group compared(P<0.05),the difference was statistically significant,and the effect of the combined treatment group relatively simple glucocorticoid group is higher.Conclusions 1 the treatment of glucocorticoid and anti VEGF drugs combined with glucocorticoid therapy can improve the visual acuity of DME patients;2 anti VEGF drugs combined with glucocorticoid treatment group was better than the treatment group,the combined treatment group was more effective,more conducive to the improvement of the condition of patients with DME.
