| Objective:To investigate the effectiveness and safety of peripheral branches pulsed radiofrequency combine Adriamycin treatment for idiopathic trigeminal neuralgia(TN).Methods:ninety idiopathic TN patients were randomly assigned into three groups(n=30),which were treated with adriamycin 、pulsed radiofrequency combine adriamycin and pulsed radiofrequency of gasserian ganglion respectively. The VAS、PRI、sleeping time、efficacy were compared the groups after treatment. Results:After the treatment,VAS scores、PRI scores and sleeping time of both groups decreased significantly compared to those before treatment(P<0.05).after operation, the VAS scores 、 PRI scores in PRF+ADM group were significantly lower, and sleeping time longer than those in PRF group. The efficacy were significantly higher than those in PRF group(P<0.05);after operation 1d、3d the VAS scores 、PRI scores in PRF+ADM group were significantly lower than those in ADM group,The efficacy were significantly higher than those in ADM group(P<0.05).No significant side effects were found in groups. Conclusion:Peripheral Branches pulsed radiofrequency combine adriamycin treatment for trigeminal neuralgia can damage only to a sense of pain andremain a sense of touch, has reliable analgesia effect on trigeminal neuralgia,is relatively safe and easily manipulated. |
