The Research On The Prevention Of Acute Radiation Proctitis Of Cervical Cancer By Combination Of Mesalazine Suppositorics And Mesalazine Enteric-coated Tablets

Objective: observing the impact of Mesalazine oral joint suppositorics upon preventi-on of cervical cancer and Acute Radiation Proctitis to provide some clinical research data for future prevention of Acute Radiation Proctitis.Method: 56 cases were chosen from among patients in tumorous gynecology section of our hospital who received radiotherapy and chemotherapy by means of Three-dimensional conformal radiotherapy simultaneously from January 2015 to September 20-16,and divided randomly into an observation group of 28 cases and a control group of 28 cases.During radiotherapy,the observationgroup was provided with Mesalazi-ne Enteric-coated Tablets during the whole process at a rate of 1.0 g every time and th-ree times a day and with Mesalazine Suppositorics used for anal blockage at a rate of0.5 g every time and two times a day.For the control group no preventive measures were taken.When patients from the two groups suffered from Acute Radiation Procti-tisof at levelⅡorabove,dexamethasone,gentamycin,Montmoril Lonitepowder,Triethanolamine cream were provided to them.An enema was performed before sleep every night and was discontinued after alleviation of symptoms.Records were kept about patients’ bloody stools and cases of tenesmus,abdominal pain and diarrhea;observations were made about the incidence of Acute Radiation Proctitis,time,degree and times of enema in both groups and were contrasted individually.Results : 1.In terms of the incidence of Acute Radiation Proctitis,there were 11sufferers(39.29%)in the observation group,less than 21 sufferers(75.00%)in the control group.There was a statistically significant difference in a chi-square test(P=0.04<0.05).2.In terms of the degree of Acute Radiation Proctitis,there were 17 cases of level0,5cases of level I,6 cases of level II,0 case of level III and 0 case of level IV in the observation group,whereas there were 7 cases of level 0,9 cases of level I,11 cases of level II,1 case of level III and 0 case of level IV in the control group.There was a statistically significant difference(P=0.04<0.05).3.In terms of the occurrence time of Acute Radiation Proctitis,occurrence time of the observation group(18.18 ±4.19 days)was later than the control group(14.48 ± 3.95days).There was a statistically significant difference(P=0.019<0.05).4.In terms of the number of enemas,the observation group(3.00 ± 0.775)was less than the control group(4.00 ± 1.414).There was a statistically significant difference(P=0.015<0.05).Conclusion: Mesalazine oral joint suppositorics could reduce the incidence of Acute Radiation Proctitis,alleviate its degree and delay the time of its occurrence.
