| Objective To define the inhibitory effect of Lycium barbarum polysaccharide on hypoxia inducible factor-1α in peripheral mononuclear cells of patients with COPD and discuss the relationship between LBP concentration and hypoxia inducible factor-1α expression level.Methods 1.101 patients were collected including 51 stable COPD patients,50 cases of healthy subjects,all patients had complete clinical data.2.All research subjects serum HIF-1αwere detected,groups comparison through t-test method,meanwhile,analysis expression level of HIF-1α in patients with COPD stabilization.3.Patients with COPD serum HIF-1αwere detected after taking different concentration of LBP,through repeated measurement data analysis of variance,analysis the relationship of expression level of HIF-1α and LBP concentration and the observation time.4.Detection of arterial blood gas and lung function in COPD patients.Results 1.HIF-1α in COPD stability patients was were significantly higher than that of healthy subjects,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Taking LBP two weeks later,the expression levels of HIF-1α decline than before,the difference was statis-tically significant(P<0.05).3.By observing the variation tend of HIF-1α level after taking different doese of LBP,the decrease in the low dose group was significantly higher than in the middle and high dose group in this experiment.4.HIF-1α in serum correlated inversely with PO2(r=-0.49,P<0.05);HIF-1α in serum correlated positively with PCO2(r=0.283,P<0.01).HIF-1α in serum correlated inversely with FEV1%(r=-0.42,P<0.05).HIF-1α in serum correlated inversely with FEV1/FVC(r=-0.54,P<0.05).5.After 2 weeks of taking LBP,13 patients with chest tightness,shortness of breath symptoms were improved,effective power30.23%;7 cases of patients with sputum negative symptoms were improved,effective power25.92%;7 cases of patients with physical enhancement,fewer colds,effective power 17.95%;2case of patients’ mental state had ameliorated obviously,effective power 18.18%。Conclusion 1.Compared with healthy subjects,the expression of HIF-1α in serum significantly increased in COPD stability patients.2.The expression level of HIF-1α in stable COPD patients were correlated with the hypoxia and carbon dioxide retention and the degree offlow limitation.3.LBP can inhibit the expression level of HIF-1α in stable COPD patients,the low dose group LBP was better than the middle and high dose group on inhibition of he expression level of HIF-1α in this experiment.4.LBP can improve the clinical symptoms of COPD patients,improve their quality of life. |
