| Objective: the diagnostic value of CT manifestations in solitary pulmonary nodules(SPN)with different pathologic types. Methods: The MSCT scan image post-processing of ninety-four SPN confirmed by pathology were retrospectively analyzed, observe the nodule size, distribution, edge and internal signs, and the results were compared with pathological findings. Results: Among 94 SPN,benign nodules 26 cases(27.7%),included 13 cases of inflammatory pseudotumor,5 cases of tuberculoma,7cases of hamartoma,1cases of sclerosing hemangioma.Malignant nodules 68 cases(72.3%),included 51 cases of adenocarcinoma,11 cases of squamous carcinoma,1 cases of gland scale cancer,2 cases of small cell carcinoma,1 cases of large cell carcinoma,2 cases of carcinoid.Average diameter of benign nodules was(1.87±0.60)cm,and(2.09±0.67)cm for the malignant nodules.Among of all cases, left lung nodules 46 cases, included 33 benign nodules and13 malignant nodules,Right lung nodules 48 cases, included 35 benign nodules and13 malignant nodules. The distribution of malignant nodules in the lung lobe had no significant difference(P>0.05).The incidences of leaf sign, burr sign? pleural indentation sign、 cavitas and bronchial air sign?、 blood vessels cluster sign of malignant nodules were higner than that of the benign nodules. The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: For patients with SPN,analysis its edge and internal morphological characteristics by CT examination early can make the differentialdiagnosis of benign and malignant, and providing great practical value in clinical treatment. |
