Objective:Design the implant placement and produce digital 3D printing guide with“color cube implant and locator customization system” using cone-beam computed tomography(CBCT)data,so as to assist physicians in the implantation of maxillary anterior teeth region.Analyse the precision of digital 3D printing guide in the implantation of maxillary anterior teeth region after surgery, and evaluate its clinical effect in the implantation of maxillary anterior teeth region.Methods:40 patients with dentition defect in maxillary anterior teeth regions who underwent implant surgery in the Department of Dental Implant,Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University, from September 2015 to August 2016 were randomly divided into the Group I and the Group II,with 20 patients in each group.Preparing the dental impression and perfusing plaster model of the group I before surgeries, and then create and use the radiation guide to photograph CBCT,patients in group 2 were routinely taken CBCT.“Color cube implant and locator customization system ”was used to achieve three dimensional reconstruction with the CBCT data and analyze the shapes, widths, heights and thickness of alveolar bones in implantation regions,to determine reasonably the quantity, locations and models of implants and complete the design of planting sites.Digital 3D printing plates were produced according to the design scheme and used for implant surgeries of patients from the Group I,and those from the Group II underwent routine implant surgeries. All patients from the two groups underwent cone-beam computed tomography after surgeries, and "color cube implant and locator customization system” was applied to compare implant sites designed prior to surgeries and actual implant sites, and measure the differences between actual sites and designed ones, and the data obtained were analyzed statistically. Results:Patients from the Group I were placed a total of 37 implants and those from the Group II were 32 implants. All patients from the two groups underwent cone-beam computed tomography after surgeries, the data was input into "color cube implant and locator customization system” to compare pictures between implant sites designed beforesurgeries and actual implant sites, and compare and measure differences between implant sites and designed sites,.The measured deviation are as follows: in the Group I,shoulder(0.64 ± 0.40)mm(0.12~1.62mm),apex(0.72 ± 0.39)mm(0.06~1.59mm),depth(0.42±0.40)mm(-0.67~1.19mm)and the angle(2.35±1.05)°(0.50~4.03)°;in the Group II,shoulder(1.57±0.34)mm(0.90~2.20mm),apex(2.04±0.93)mm(0.78~3.61mm),depth(0.76±0.64)mm(-0.74~1.64mm)and the angle(6.71±3.63)°(2.13~13.13)°.There were statistically significant differences between the two groups in the shoulder, apex angle and depth(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Preoperative design with "color cube implant and locator customization system” using CBCT data improve the accuracy of diagnosis, and help to develop a more reasonable treatment plan.2.Producing digital 3D printing guide and using the guide to assist the implantation of implants make it possible to perform surgery in strict accordance with the treatment plan, improve the precision of implantation, which has good prospects for clinical application.
