Advances In The Correlation Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease And Cerebrovascular Disease

Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD)is a common multi-system disease in the elderly beyond the lungs。Along with aging population,the prevalence of the cerebrovasular disease such as cerebral small vessel disease、stroke and cognitive impairment is increasing。A variety of mechanisms contribute to the link between COPD and cerebrovasular disease.This article reviews the underlying mechanisms about above both disease.
