Objective:To investigate the dysfunction of autonomic nervous system in dipper and non-dipper type hypertension. Methods: 126 primary hypertensive patients were divided into dipper and non-dipper groups, all patients were synchrously examined Holter and ambulatory blood pressure monitoring for 24 hours, and heart rate variability indices were compared in two groups. Results: Compared with the two groups, the indices of HRV in non-dipper were lower than those in dipper(P<0.05),and the ratio of LF/HF in non-dipper group was also lower than that in non-dipper(P<0.05).Conclusion: dysfunction of autonomic nervous system in non-dipper group is more serious than that in dipper group.
