| Objective:To analyze the clinical and pathological characteristics of gastric polyps and provide guidance for clinical diagnosis and treatment of gastric polyps.Methods:Data about 1063 patients with gastric polyps who underwent endoscopic from June first 2011 to May 31 th 2016 in the first clinical hospital of Shanxi Medical University was retrospectively analyzed.Results:Among the analysis of 1063 cases,405 cases were male(38.10%),658 were female(61.90%).Their age varied from 18 and 93 years old and 30 to 60-year-old people were more likely to have gastric polyps(62.84%).Besides,there were 838 cases having mono-polyp(78.83%)and 225 cases having multiple polyps(21.17%).In addition,the gastric polyp diameter of 851 cases was more than 0.5cm(79.96%)and the commonest Yamada type I and II(62.28%,25.59%)were the most common morphologic type.Polyps in gastric body and antrum were more easily hapened,with a rate of 40.83%,33.77%,seperately.The most common pathological type were hyperplastic polyp and inflammatory polyp(65.85%,26.06%).Conclusion:In 1063 patients with gastric polyps,gastric polyps were mainly seen in women,mainly in single.Meanwhile type I and II are the most common type and the commenest pathological types are hyperplastic polyps and inflammatory polyps.Polyps in gastric body and antrum were more easily hapened.The detection of polyps in all age groups was related to the sex of the patients.The location,number and size of polyps were not related to the age of the patients.Pathological types of polyps have no connection with sex and polyps number,while they were related to patient age and polys location.In the past five years,hyperplastic polyp has increased year by year,inflammatory polyp has a downward trend year,while the fundic gland polyps and gastric adenomas polyp almost no obvious change. |
