Objective:To conduct a systematic review assessed the efficacy and safety of thalidomide in crohn disease.Method:Using the computer system to retrieve all published at home and abroad on the thalidomide treatment of Crohn’s literature, the retrieval date of August 2016 before. In strict accordance with the inclusion of exclusion criteria for literature screening, quality evaluation and extraction of relevant data, the application of RevMan5.3 software for meta-analysis.I 2 test heterogeneity, the count data using relative risk(RR)and 95%confidence interval(95% confidence interval,95% CI)said. The upper group RR /(1 +RR)was combined with the corresponding 95% CI interval(upper limit RR /(1 + upper limit RR),lower limit RR /(1 + lower limit RR)A descriptive study of indicators that can not be quantified for meta-analysis.Results:A total of 18 studies met the inclusion criteria,15 of which were descriptive studies and 3 were randomized controlled trials, with a total of 381 patients. The clinical remission of RR was 0.88(95% CI 0.53 ~ 1.48),while the clinical remission of rate was was 46.8%(95% CI 34.6%-59.6%),respectively;the Steroid hormone reduction of RR was0.86(95% CI 0.55-7.09),while the Steroid hormone reduction of rate was 46.2%(95% CI35.4%-87.6%);the fistula cure RR was 0.69(95% CI 0.38-1.26),while the fistula curerate was 41%(95% CI 27.5%-55.8%;the mucosal healing of RR was 0.50(95%CI0.23~1.11),while the mucosal healing of rate was 33%(95%CI 18.7%~52.6%)overall rate was 41% and 95% CI(27.5%-55.8%)for mucosal healing;the clinical remission of RR was 1.72(95% CI(0.88-3.36)after the failure of biologics treatment, while the rate was 63.2%(95% CI 46.8% to 77.1%).A total of 64.5% of patients had adverse reactions,of which 25.2% of patients discontinued due to adverse reactions. Conclusion:Thalidomide treatment of Crohn’s disease have a certain effect, but the use of attention to its adverse reactions.
