Preliminary Construction Of An Evaluation Indicators System For Pressure Injury Treatment Effect

OBJECTIVE: This study aims to preliminarily construct the evaluation indicators system for pressure injury treatment effect which can provide reference for the clinical staff and also contribute to evidence based nursing related to pressure injury treatment.METHODS:(1)We retrieved database in both English and Chinese and preliminarily screened the literature that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria.And then,We extracted and analyzed the evaluation indicators in the literature,including the judging standard,measurement methods,tools or calculation formula of evaluation indicators.(2)By means of the analysis of evaluation indicators for pressure injury treatment effect and the judging standard,measurement methods,tools or calculation formula of the evaluation indicators,the expert enquiry table was formed after our research group discussed.At last,the evaluation indicators system for pressure injury treatment effect was built preliminarily using Delphi method to enquiry experts for two rounds.RESULTS:(1)461 Chinese articles were brought in analysis and 65 evaluation indicators were extracted.There were 4 evaluation indicators that were cited more than 10% or more.39 English articles were brought in analysis and 56 evaluation indicators were extracted.There were 8 evaluation indicators that were cited more than 10% or more.Evaluation indicators were divided into four categories,respectively wound healing effect,patient feel,patient safety and economic effect and the evaluation indicators of reflecting wound healing effect occupied more than 65% of the total evaluation indicators.The indicators that had two or more evaluation standard,measurement method,evaluation tool or formula accounted for more than 15% and these indicators were often used.(2)The experts’ positive coefficient were 94.4% and 100% in two rounds,and the experts’ authority coefficient were 0.94.In the first round,About the importance assesment of the first indicators,the average was 3.65-4.88,the full score ratio was 17.6%-88.2%,the variation coefficient was 0.067-0.236,the Kendall’ coefficient was 0.585;About the importance assesment of the secondary indicators,the average was 3.82-4.76,the full score ratio was 17.6%-82.4%,the variation coefficient was 0.092-0.277,the Kendall’ coefficient was 0.193;About the maneuverability assesment of the evaluation indicator standard,the averages was 3.88-4.76,the full score ratio was 29.4%-76.5%,the variation coefficient was 0.092-0.250,the Kendall’ coefficient was 0.115;About the recognition assesment of the evaluation indicator standard,the average was 4.00-4.65,the full score ratio was 35.3%-76.5%,the variation coefficient was 0.111-0.268,the Kendall’ coefficient was 0.098.In the second round,about the importance assesment of the first indicators,the average was 4.00-4.94,the full score ratio was 17.6%-94.1%,the variation coefficient was 0.049-0.153,the Kendall’ coefficient was 0.515;About the importance assesment of the secondary indicators,the average was 4.18-5.00,the full score ratio was 29.4%-100%,the variation coefficient was 0.000-0.239,the Kendall’ coefficient was 0.249;About the maneuverability assesment of the evaluation indicator standard that were modified,the averages was 4.35-4.94,the full score ratio was 47.1%-94.1%,the variation coefficient was 0.049-0.182,the Kendall’ coefficient was 0.272;About the recognition assesment of the evaluation indicator standard that were modified,the average was 4.53-5.00,the full score ratio was 52.9%-100%,the variation coefficient was 0.000-0.113,the Kendall’ coefficient was 0.238.Eventually the evaluation indicator system for pressure injury treatment effect was build up,which including 4 first-level indicators which were respectively wound healing effect,patients feel,patient safety and economic effect and 20 secondary indicators.CONCLUSION:(1)There are many evaluation indicator of pressure injury treatment effect,which can be divided into four categories,respectively wound healing effect,patient feel,patient safety and economic effect.The evaluation indicators of wound healing effect are used most widely.There is a phenomenon that the same evaluation indicator has different names or evaluation criteria.(2)The clinical staff shoud employ the evaluation indicators for pressure injury treatment effect normatively and expand the application scope of the evaluation indicators for pressure injury treatment effect.(3)The evaluation indicators system for pressure injury treatment effect is scientific,comprehensive and credible.
