Objective:To investigate the relationship between serum CTRP5 and vascular endothelial dysfunction in patients with Essential hypertension. Methods:Collect 44 healthy people and 84 patients with Essential Hypertension in hospital from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hebei Medical University, which were divided into 2 groups control and EH.Divied the EH group into 3 sub-groups,1 group(EH grade l,n=26),2 group(EH 2grade,n=28),3 group(EH 3 grade,n=30),according to the 2013 Chinese guidelines for the management of hypertension.Record the history of the selected and the biochemical indicators(including high sensitivity C-reactive protein,HsCRP).NO was detected by chemical method.Serum CTRP5 and ET-1 were detected by enzyme-labeled immunosorbent assay(ELISA).All datas were analyed by SPSS19.00 software.Measurement data expressed as meanąstandard deviation().We used the T test to compare test group and control group, otherwise the Mann-Whitney U test was applied. The one-way analysis of variance test to compare the means of multiple groups,if the variance was homogeneous, the LSD test was used for further comparison;while the variance was different between groups using GameesHowell method. The interrelationships of HsCRP,ET-1,NO and CTRP5 were analyed by Person correlation analysis.Difference have statistical significance(P<0.05).Results:1 The levels of CTRP5 was significantly higher in 3 group than those in other groups, and the higher grade of hypertension was the apparenter(P<0.05).2 The level of HsCRP was higher than this in control group, but there was no difference between the test group(P>0.05).3 The levels of ET-1 was significantly higher in 3 group than those in other groups, and the higher grade of hypertension was the apparenter(P<0.05).4 Serum NO level was significantly higher in control patients than in the test groups patients(P<0.05).5 Pearman correlation analysis showed: The level of CTRP5 was positively related to the levels of HsCRP and ET-1(pearman r:0.273,r:0.696,P<0.05),and negatively related to the level of NO(pearman r:-0.639,P<0.05).Conclusions:1 Serum CTRP5 levels can suggest a degree of vascular endothelial function damage in patients with essential hypertension and may be another marker for evaluating vascular endothelial function.2 Serum CTRP5 may become a biological marker of cardiovascular disease and therapeutic targets.
