| Objective: To investigate the expression and significance of FGFR4 m RNA and protein in breast cancer tissues and breast cancer tissues, and further explore the relationship between FGFR4 and breast cancer staging, grade, and the clinicopathology of breast cancer. Methods: Collect the Qinghai university affiliated hospital thyroid breast surgery in October 2014 to November 2016 hospitalized patients, surgical removal of breast carcinoma tissues and away from the normal breast tissue the 52 cases of cancer tissue;Application of real-time fluorescent quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction(q RT-PCR)method for detection in breast cancer tissue and normal tissue adjacent to breast cancer FGFR4 m RNA expression;Using Western bolt method detection in breast cancer tissue and FGFR4 protein expression in normal tissue adjacent to breast cancer, the application of statistical analysis, further FGFR4 m RNA and protein expression and the clinical pathological characteristics of correlation. Results: The expression of FGFR4 m RNA and protein in the breast cancer tissues were higher than those of the adjacent tissues(P<0.05),and they were associated with the lymph node metastasis and Her-2 expression(P<0.05),but had no correlation with the age, tumor size, degree of differentiation,ER and PR of breast cancer(P>0.05).Conclusion: FGFR4 m RNA and protein expression in breast cancer tissue were significantly lower than those in breast cancer tissues.FGFR4 m RNA and expression were correlated with lymph node metasis and Her-2,suggesting that FGFR4 may play a role in the development and progression of breast cancer, which was expected to become a predictor of breast cancer metastasis and prognosis of one of the indicators. |
