Comparative Analysis Of Different Treatment Methods Of Chronic Osteomyelitis In Lower Extremities Of Qinghai Province

Objective:The therapeutic effects of three different methods on the treatment of patients with chronic osteomyelitis in lower limbs in Qinghai were analysed retrospectively.Analysis of treatment options and complications of chronic osteomyelitis in lower extremities.Methods: 65 cases of patients with chronic osteomyelitis diagnosed by external medicine from June 2008 to June 2015 in Qinghai University Affiliated Hospital and other hospital were divided into three groups according to three different treatment methods: group A(group A,n=42),bone cement antibiotic bead implantation Group(group B,n = 80)and bone metastasis group(group C,n = 62).Comparison of three different methods of treatment of lower extremity chronic osteomyelitis cure rate(recurrence rate),postoperative functional score,the incidence of complications and efficacy evaluation.Result: The cure rate(recurrence rate)of the three groups is 47.6%(52.4%)in group A,87.5%(12.5%)in group B and 96.8%(3.2%)in group C.The incidence of complications of group A was 80.9%,51.2% in group B,33.9% in group C.Postoperative functional score of group A is 58(poor),group B is 72(good),group C is 87(excellent).Conclusions: Bone removal group(group C),treatment method of lower extremity chronic osteomyelitis cure rate is high,whether the removal of lesions is the key to successful treatment.
