| The physical and mental health of individuals aged in 0-18 means a lot for the happiness of the family and the future of the nation.If can not get effective intervention and support in the early days,the trauma will bring enduring influence for the growth of individuals.this study aims to use the method of meta-analysis to explore:the effectiveness of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy(EMDR)for children and adolescents post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD)and the influencing factors.Methods:We searched Medline,EMBASE,the ISI Web of science,the Cochrane Library,pubmed database,in 1999-2016,published in English by using EMDR randomized controlled trials for the treatment of children and adolescents PTSD,using Review the Manage 5.3 software and Spss17.0 software to conduct data analysis.Results:(1)The meta-analysis included 11 articles(N=399).the effect of eye movement desensitization and reprocessing treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms in pre-adults is amount to an average of 1.353(95%CI:0.199-1.553).(2)After EMDR treatment,the PTSD scores of participants declined significantly,(d= 1.47,95%CI:0.81-2.13;Z= 4.37,p<0.0001).(3)Compared eye movement group with control group,the treatment efficacy of eye movement group was significantly better than control group,(d= 0.75,95%Cl:-1.44—0.06;Z=2.12,;p= 0.03).(4)Eyes movement group also remains a therapeutic effect after 6 months(d= 0.17,95%CI:0.17—0.48;Z= 1.12,p=0.26).(5)The trauma type,the research funding,the family support conditions,the control type,the times of treatment,the year of publication did not show statistically significant differences on the effect of study.Conclusions:Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing therapy can effectively alleviate the post-traumatic stress disorder symptoms in children and adolescents.Research funding situation,the subjects of the trauma of type,family support,set in the control group and the number of times of eye treatment did not show statistically significant differences on the effect of study. |
