Comparison Of Pathological Characters Between Pancreatic Neuro-endocrine Neoplasms And Solid-pseudopapillary Tumor Of The Pancreas And Their Differential Diagnosis On Ihc Characters

Purpose: Study on the pathological characters of pancreatic neuro endocrine neoplasms(PNEN)and solid-pseudopapillary tumor of the pancreas(SPTP)and the implication of specific IHC markers on the differential diagnose,especitially discuss the function of β-Catenin、E-cad and CD10 in discriminating PNEN and SPTP.Methods:93 cases of pancreatic tumor were collected from the First Affiliated Hospital of Medical University of Anhui,the Second Affiliated Hospital of Medical University of Anhui,and the Anhui Provincial Hospital from March 2007 to February 2017.53/93 were diagnosed as PNEN while 40/93 were diagnosed as SPTP by pathological doctors.The clinical and pathological data were retrospectively analyzed,and the differences features between PNEN and SPTP were compared.The clinicalpathological features and differential diagnosis of the two tumors were discussed.To clarify the possibility implication of union the immune marker in the differential diagnosis of the tumors,the expression of β-Catenin、E-cad、Cg A、Syn、CD56、CD10 and CK in the two groups of tumors were observed by IHC.Results: 1.Both PNEN and SPTP have the same characterstics in histopathology and immunohistochemistry;2.β-Catenin was expressed on the cell member and cell plasma in PNEN,while in SPTP β-Catenin was expressed on cell nuclear,and there was statistically significant difference.E-cad was expressed on the cell member and cell plasma in PNEN,while In the SPTP group the tumor cells showed cell membrane expression loss.The expression rate of CD10 in SPTP was 100%(40/40),while there was no positive expression in PNEN.3.Cg A,Syn,CD56 and CK were expressed in different degrees in PNEN and SPTP.Conclusion:The immunological expression of beta-Catenin,E-cad and CD10 is specific to the differential diagnosis of PNEN and SPTP,and is the most valuable immunohistochemical marker.
