| ObjectiveTo investigate the effect of cognitive behavior therapy on anxiety and depression of patients with intracranial aneurysm interventional surgery.MethodsNinety-six patients underwent intracranial aneurysm interventional surgery in Wuxi People’s Hospital Affiliated to Nanjing Medical University were enrolled and allocated randomly into intervention group and control group according to the random number table, with 48 cases in each group. The control group only received routine treatment and nursing, while the intervention group in the observation group additionnally received the cognitive behavior therapy. The Self-rating Anxiety Scale(SAS),Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS),Heart rate(HR),Mean arterial pressure(MAP)and the incidence of complications were used to evaluate the effect of intervention before and after the intervention.Results1.Cognitive behavior therapy can significantly improve anxiety and depression in patients with intracranial aneurysm interventional surgery, and the effect is better than that of routine treatment and nursing. Before intervention, there was no signify-cant difference in the results of SAS and SDS score between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the SAS score of the intervention group patients was lower than that of the control group patients, the difference was statistically significant(t=-5.413,P<0.05);the SDS score of the intervention group patients was lower than that of the control group patients, the difference was statistically signify-cant(t=-4.964,P<0.05).2.Cognitive behavior therapy can stabilize heart rates and BP of patients with intracranial aneurysm interventional surgery, and the effect is better than that of routi-ne treatment and nursing. Before intervention, there was no significant difference in heart rates and MAP between the two groups(P>0.05).After intervention, the heart rates of the intervention group were more stable, and the heart rates of the control group were significantly higher, the difference was statistically significant(t=-4.878,P<0.05).After intervention, the MAP of the intervention group was more stable, and the MAP of the control group was significantly higher, the difference was statistically significant(t=-6.372,P<0.05).3.Cognitive behavior therapy can reduce the incidence of complications in pati-ents with intracranial aneurysm interventional surgery, the effect is better than routine treatment and nursing. The total incidence of complications in the intervention group was 8.40%,the total incidence of complications in the control group was 45.8%.The incidence of complications in the intervention group was significantly lower than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=20.358,P<0.05).ConclusionsCognitive behavior therapy can effectively improve the anxiety and depression of patients with intracranial aneurysm interventional surgery, and stabilize the heart rates,BP and reduce the incidence of complications. |
