Application Research On Anterior Cervical Cage Instrument Of ROI-C In Anterior Cervical Discectomy And Fusion Surgery

ObjectiveComparison of the application of zero notch stabilized cervical fusion cage(ROI-C)and Anterior Cervical Locking Plate System in the treatment of cervical spondylosis to evaluate the clinical efficacy of ROI-C in ACDF and to explore its advantages and disadvantages.Methods67 cases of patients with Cervical spondylotic myelopathy included in this study,and all of the patients have received Anterior Cervical Discectomy and Fusion in spine surgery of Guangdong TCM Hospital.The patients,aged from18 to 60 years,with an average of 37.7 years,of which there were 41 male and female in 26 cases.And the patients were divided into the observation group and control group according to the internal plant used in the operation,the observation group,with 33 cases and in another group with 32 cases.The observation group was adopted with ROI-C,while the control group was treated with Anterior Cervical Locking Plate System.The operation time,bleeding and hospital stay were compared between the two groups,And using VAS score and mJOA score to evaluate the clinical efficacy,And make a record of surgical complications,and SPSS 19.0 is used for statistical analysis.ResultsThere was no significant difference of statistics(P > 0.05)in Age,sex,body height,body weight,standard body mass index,occupational characteristics,preoperative VAS score and JOA score of the two groups.And the difference between the two groups was comparable.Surgeries in both of the two groups were successfully completed,and there were no complications such as nerve injury,hematoma and infection.In clinical curative effect,two groups of patients with postoperative VAS and JOA score compared with preoperative.And it has a statistically significant difference(P < 0.01)too compared with preoperative.However,At the time of the last follow-up,there were no statistically significant differences in VAS score,JOA scores and modified Macnab efficacy evaluation index(P>0.05).ConclusionThe application of ROI-C in the treatment of cervical spondylosis has an definite clinical curative effect and be commensurate with the traditional system of anterior cervical locking plate in ACDF.And it is worth to promotion and application because it has the advantages of short operation time and the reducing postoperative swallowing discomfort and short hospital stay time.
